Idols... ooh

Wow... I've been in this 'business' for a few years, and getting 'better' day by day... ahem... and that's checking out cute guys! Hahaha!

Well it's the nature of girls to look at cute and handsome guys, just like boys do towards pretty girls. Well, my taste is often the same type... I won't tell you... not really rare and can be found out there, that is, if you 'look' closely!

The crazy thing is, the guys whom I like to check out on are celebrities. That's why I'd be so damn crazy over some particular programmes, e.g. Malaysian Idol, movies of my fave stars, blablabla... If you know me well, you'll be hearing me talking away about some guys, how funny they are, describing some scenes... hahaha!

Recently I get really 'busy'. Besides my preparation for SPM, one thing that takes up my time is ... this business...again! Well for your information, Jeff Timmons is in Malaysia to promote his album, and today he was the guest judge on Malaysian Idol! WOW! Two guys to 'kap' -- Jeff and Daniel! Heehee... I've been waiting for this day since Wednesday when I got to know about it.
Another guy to catch my attention Orlando Bloom! Though his movie will only be due in October, I'm already surfing the movie's official website! But damn it... I have some problem accesssing to it...

Hush.. there is still another person who will always appear on my computer screen... Ken Chu! He is definitely my all-time favourite!

I know, I know... I'm really crazy...3-8... but it's OK with me, as long as I'm happy, hope you are not bothered by this too!

Time flies...

I was 'half-watching' (not supposed to watch) "Holland Village" on 8TV today, when it was the scene of the family celebrating the Chinese New Year's Eve . Nothing that touching, but it just felt good that the whole family was together. It was such a happy atmosphere (that's why CNY is my favourite festival!).

Recalling the CNY this year, it seems like it was just a month ago. The excitement of the programmes can still be felt, the happy atmosphere of the BBQ party we had then seems to stay in the air. Time passes fast. Before I realize it I'm half a year over, SPM is just round the corner. Sweat... It seems half the year's time wasn't even spent usefully. I can't seem to remember what I've done during this period. OMG... wonder if it's too late...

While watching the show, another thing came into mind -- my class. Over the year, our class seems to have 'created' a special relationship among the students. Compared to last year, many and more birthday songs were sung in the class relationship and 'feelings' towards the teachers had strengthen ('positively' AND 'negatively'). Many things had happened intra-and inter-class. Many problems were faced (especially dealing with EXAM!). Many tips are exchanged (!). Some classmates had changed and their true personality revealed. Some 'special bond' among 'some' classmates were formed (results not out yet...); some 'hatred' some 'love'! Some... no... MANY competitions were won by the class (Hurray!). Some being credited by teachers. And... ...

Looks like a lot had happened in the past 8 months. But it all happened really fast. Gosh, time flies faster year by year! And soon, it's graduation time. Parting time. The class will be separated to different places. What if we never meet anymore? Will this party of 5S1 be history? Wow... I feel strangely sad thinking of it. It's always weird to part with my friends, like I did when leaving China. Emotions arise, though the parting cannot be avoided. That's life. I only hope that for the time being we all appreciate everyone around us, appreciate everything we own.

Hopefully, for this once-in-a-lifetime class and bond among us, we'll be able to maintain it, maybe not forever, but at least for as long as it can be.

P/S: When the hell will our class t-shirt be published?

It's woan Wei's birthday today, and her best friends had a party just for her. I wasn't there (sorry guys), but I know that it was a very touching atmosphere there. My friend Ying had been planning it a week before.

The birhtday girl was invited to lunch with 3 friends. But suddenly 22 more people came into the restaurant! Wow!!! So touching! But heard that the fod wasn't good...

Anyway, please update me, friends who went!!!

Finally I met him...

I might seem calm right now...
But I'm not...

I'm not calm...

I AM OVER EXCITED NOW!!!

WHY? !

COZ I MET ANDREW!!!

Huh? Andrew who?

ANDREW TAN! From last season's Malaysian Idol!!! YAHHHHHH!!!!!

Haha... I'm actually not a fan of his, but I really admire his guitar skills. Well I was attending a Physics seminar which ended just about an hour ago. Imagine how my heart jumped when I saw him up on stage! He was one of the musicians playing for the songs which were sung then. What should I say? Of course he was really COOL! He looked really 'pro' up there. He looked slimmer than he was last year during MI, but more 'leng zai' lah, especially in person!Too bad I didn't bring my sis's camera to take his photo. I was regreting a lot.

But haha... I went up to him right after the program ended! I wasn't prepared for that. I was still wondering how I should approach him to get his autograph. I saw him almost alone a distance away, and hah... I dunno how, I walked up to him automatically! CRAZY! I know! The moment I called him, I 'automatically' (yeah I din't know I would be saying this) introduced myself. He seemed scared, haha...shy maybe, but who cares... I was lost for words. Shook hands with him, asked him a bit about his current life-going (he's pursuing his studies in UTAR). Then I did a somewhat stupid thing...I was 'missed-calling' my sis on the phone while talking to to him, I asked him if he would talk to my sis on the phone! GILA LAH!!! But I really didn't know what to say to him, and I didn't want my sis to lose the apportunity to talk to him. He was 'dun want lah' in the beginning, but then when I was calling my sis, there she was by my side! And how happy she was! Heehee... we took picture with him, he was really funny, making some funny noise while taking photo. After that, it was the turn for another group of 'fans' waiting nearby. And he did a 'cute' action - he was 'shy' and tried to hide behind a beam! Hehe! So funny of him! Then my sis let him sing on her CD - he was like 'wah!'

Really really glad to have met him, really really apologise for taking up his time (he was supposed to send people to the LRT station then). I dunno what my friends will think of me... must be "yerr, that sha po siao de!" I am who I am, 'SIAO' when I am 'siao'. Heehee...I'm be telling Ah Hun about this!

Hate the haze

Never have I seen such heavy haze before. I know from my friends that in 1997 there was an even worst haze in the country, but this one is already torturing me like hell! The haze which was caused by open burning in Sumatra, has been around us since last week maybe Tuesday. It got worse and worse everyday, and especially starting this week, we start to experience unhealthy air, in which we can smell smoke everywhere (except indoors). It was so bad today that the Teacher of the last 2 periods (Puan Mas Halila) couldn't stand it and she had to stop teaching. The class thought not to come to school the next day. We were wondering why the government didn't declare holiday at such an unhealthy weather. What we heard was the government wasn't gonna take any action if the atmosphere pollution doesn't reach 500 degrees. What the hell? By then I think half the people pengsan in hospital arlready loh! And the principal who has the authority to declare holiday, wasn't taking any action as well!

This afternoon I had to go to the dentist's for orthodontic treatment. My sis had to drive my mom and I to the LRT station since the haze was too heavy. Thank goodness the atmosphere was slightly better in Jelatek, so I could walk quite well to the clinic without respiratory problems. Still worrying about whether to go to school tomorrow, I watched the news on TV which staed that there will be a 'cuti ganti' for Thursday and Friday. I didn't know whether to believe it or not coz my dad said it was not for our school. But then, after confirmation from a few friends and the principal (not me who called him), I took the 'happy' news. Of course it wasn't happy, I'd rather study in school than to suffer this haze!

The worst affected area is Pelabuhan Klang with 410 degrees, while our area is reported 189 only. And yet we are suffering like this, then how do the people there survive? My gosh, I feel really suffocated thinking of that!

Ok, just take care of yourselves well everyone!

A tiring week

wow...finally over!

The last paper for monthly test was EST, but we guys have been relaxing right after the Physics paper. I didn't do well in that. Same with Chemistry. Shit. I mean, I really feel very disappointed with myself, especially since I have read the type of questions in my notes, but couldn't remember the details.

I really worry for my SPM. How the hell will I do if I keep on being like this?

HAve to continue to study, and work even harder. But for tonight, I won't just yet. Coz there a Malaysian Idol Special tonight! Gotta watch!

Are they really THAT bad?

It really get on my nerves about some news recently. While the Taiwanese group F4 have been promoting in Japan, there are some rumours which were negative about them.
Ken Chu was the most effected one. He had had rumours about cheating on his so-called 'girlfriend', and recently he was 'hooked up' with another Taiwanese female star. Some people commented that he wanted to created these kind of rumours by being caught with some female stars in order to get famous. Wow wow...this is so ridiculous! As far as I know Ken, he is not that type of person to do so. He hates a lot being roumoured and gossiped. HE is that kind of person who wants a peaceful life, not catching attention wherever he goes. Since he is planning to exit from the Entertainment circle in some years later, what is the purpose of creating these rumours then?
Other than that, most recently there were news of Vic, well...cheating on his 'girlfriend', too. Gosh, people just can't sleep without them being the bad guy in relationship huh? Then, there was this 'news' of him hurting himself because of some emotional pressure. Well, if he was the bad guy who cheats, why should he be hurting himself for that, since he 'felt right' to do the cheating?
Does it have to be the guys who will cheat on girls, not the girls wanting to 'pikat' them? And why should people try to spread negative gossips about F4, is it because they are jealous of them? Or they want to use their names in order to get famous?
You see, when you think on their side, you can see a total different scene. Just think about it.

Daniel is in!!! N he's BIG!

Jul 18, 2005
So So happy that Daniel got into the finals! Maybe it was expected but I was quite worry before the result show. Will be looking forward for the spectaculars then!

And guess what? Remember the Guest performer who sang in Jay Chow's concert 2 years ago? Well, surprisingly (to me), that person was DANIEL!!! I was very shocked when I read the news online last Friday. It's funny that no one mentioned it all the way during the competition. Anyway, up till now, What I know is Jay praised Daniel for playing the electronic guitar really well! Ain't that great? HAHA!!!

So you guys better watch out for him!

Sick the whole week

My goodness...I've been sick the whole week, and actually haven't recovered yet. From the day I returned from Genting Highlands, I've been having a strange kind of dizziness in my head, it feels as if I'm sea-sick. Sea-sick? duh... I dunno, it's also like when I've been playing or working for a whole day, my body feels tired and when I stopped, my mind was still 'moving'.

It didn't quite matter for the first day, but the dizziness got worse and worse until I really felt a headache and felt like vomiting. To make the matter worse, I started to have fever on Thursday besides having cold and cough which had lasted for more than a week. My god, every little sickness that I usually have came in all together in a day!

Then, on Friday, I was still sick, and believe me, I was so tired that I was blur for the whole day. The cold kept haunting me like hell, I was coughing, and my head ached a lot. I really hoped to get home for a nice nap.

On Saturday, I wasn't better. My boday was aching, and in the afternoon, Fever again. Wow, 2 fevers in a row, I thought the petai dishes I ate during these 2 days was the cause, adding that I've been having durians for a few days these 2 weeks. That was really too much!

So unlucky to get sick during this peak time--before exam. Now I have only 1 week left! OMG! Gotta hurry!

The talented... ...12 Girls Band

Had a rushing weekend. There was a lot of homework to do. But behind All that, there was a reason. We were going to Genting Highlands... For the concert of 12 Girls Band!
we were very lucky to get some sponsor for the tickets. We took off in the afternoon, so we had not enough time for theme park. The main point was the concert, which was very marvellous. However, I thought it was a short one, which lasted for around 1 hour 50 minutes only. After taht there was an autograph sesion held, and as the 'kepochi' we are, my sisters and I remained at the Arena of Stars watching the session until the end. But then they didn't really smile after that, I assume that they were tired and needed rest.

Later, we were to walk around the indoor theme park. Suddenly we spotted a guy with blonde (dyed) hair walking away. My sis said he looked like Adam from 8TV, but from the side ways I thought he did not. Until when my elder sis said the same thing, we (38ly) wanted to chase him, but unfortunately he had disappeared. later on, when we were hanging around in resort Hotel, we noticed some luggage with some boxes. The luggage were in big sizes, and the boxes were long. My sis thought it might be those belonging to the 12 girls band, so we waited a while and see if they appear there. unfortunate again, we didn't catch them. twice, that we 'cha jian er guo' with some superstars or artists. :(

The 12 Girls Band really impressed me a lot. Though Chinese Orchestra can be found a lot in China, it's really rare to find internationally well known ones. Now that they have become famous, their hard work really paid off. I really admire them for their profession in music. They even write some of their songs. Now, I really want to learn to play guitar properly, which I had failed to do so after a year. Maybe I should really take up guitar classes, but that all will have to wait until after the SPM. for the time being, I will focus my spirits on my studies. examination is near, better be careful!!!

omg...I won!

Oh my god... I really can't believe it... I won!!!

That was my first thought when I see the result. I was playing in the Scrabble Competition in catagory C, for Form 5 and 6. This was the final round, and I was against two six-formers (Boon Yung was in, but he didn't come). Wow...they were very competitive, that's why I was feeling so tensed that I didn't really talk.

We played until the very end, where all the tiles are picked. The final rounds were really 'sweaty', coz the remaining tiles were those with higher marks--more difficult letters.

To say the truth, I nearly lost the game, as it was a close call. My total score was only a 5-marks different from the runner-up. and if I didn't finish using my tiles, I wouldn't have gotten the extra 12 marks from my opponents. Most important, Both my opponent (Hong Wuh) and I spotted the same place to place ONE tile. His chance of score for that was higher(21 marks), but he wanted to leave the chance to the end. however, I took my step first, getting only 3 marks for that. That was the last tile, and I wasn't even sure if that word exists. if it doesn't, I lose. But it does! HAHA!!! and so the game ended.

I wasn't confident at all when the score was being counted. The opponents were really 'geng', with one or both scoring two words of 20+ marks. But it turned out that I had the highest score. that was really what I felt, I couldn't believe it. Gosh how happy I was! And how 'mad' Hong Wuh was! He kept bragging how he could have won. Poor him...so sorry to him, but I took my step, I had to do my best.

I'm so happy that I've won. I want to thank my mom, my dad, for letting me have the chance to learn more english, thanks to my friends for their support, and I want to thank bla bla bla......
I really want to thank ELS for holding the competition before I graduate (so that I can participate :+)5s1 for letting me have the chance to represent the class in the competition. Hehe... 5s1 has a name again!
JIA YOU 5S1!!!

Disgusted!

I was at the garden today, where I was jogging on the track surrounding the playground. When I passed by the playground, I noticed a few boys about 7-8 years old in a circle. From my view, i could see 1 or 2 boys doing some strange actions. To my horror, I saw smoke coming out of a boy's mouth! I couldn't believe it, but the group of boys there were really SMOKING! Well, there were not parents around the area (not their parents of course), I could see that they were doing it secretly, coz I saw them hiding the cigarettes in their clothes.

At such a young age, they are already exposed to this unhealthy habit. What will become of them as they grow older? It is a big chance that they get exposed to even dangerous stuff--like drugs. And who is responsible for this? Their parents? Their elder siblings (who might be smoking)? Or the the person who sold the cigarettes to them? If this continues, our country will someday be 'smoked down'!

We are not transparent

Remember the topic taught by the History teacher last Friday? Kepentingan Perlembagaan. She especially spoke about the part of 'hak dan istimewa orang Melayu'.

"Perlembagaan Malaysia, dalam Perkara 153 memperuntukkan peranan Yang di-Pertuan Agong dalam menjaga dan memelihara hak istimewa serta kedudukan orang Melayu dan bumiputera di Sarawak dan Sabah. hak istimewa tersebut ialah pemberian jawatan dalam perkhidmatan awam, biasiswa, kemudahan pendidikan serta pemberian lesen perniagaan dan perdagangan." (Buku teks Sejarah Ting. 5, Bab7, m/s 164)

She talked about the biasiswa thingy stating that the biasiswa was right to be given to bumiputeras. Yes, I agree. I have always accepted the hak istimewa of orang Melayu, and I respect it. But she missed out or she didn't talk about the last sentence of the paragraph:

"Walau bagaimanapun, perlembagaan juga memastikan Perkara 153 tersebut dilaksanakan dengan berhati-hati supaya pelaksanaannya tidak mengabaikan kaum-kaum yang lain."

Please lah teacher, we know that bumiputeras have hak istimewa, but we as 'kaum-kaum lian' also have our 'hak' also. And when you teach, remember to teach rightly not choose the text that you like.

MI2 : Workshop 1

For the whole week I've been waiting for this... ...well coz I'm really obssessed with Malaysian Idol!

but then, the Workshop 1 wasn't as good as I expected. The standard seems worse than MI 1. I mean, MI 1 was quite good, but according to what the judges stated, the standard was higher for this season. But how come the contestants can't sing well? And they are actually feeling very nervous that we can even see it through the camera?

Well for example, Norzila was the really nervous one that she forgot when to start, the whole session she was on stage she felt uneasy, and most important of all, she didn't sing well. I just wonder what Paul saw in her. Then Xerra. She was supposed to be a great singer, but her performance was plain. But still, I think she will make it to the Final 12. And Norzila might make it too...coz she has a pretty face.

The whole time watching MI 2, I feel that the standard has changed... ...dropped. They seem to take account of the physical looks more than last season's. And Paul Moss seem to like more of pretty girls than talented ones...... but why Kar Wei was out, I have no idea (some say it's because she is a second timer--second timers cannot get into the workshop round, or so.).

Anyway, I really hope for the better from Workshop 2. And of course, I really really hope to see Daniel get voted to get to the 12 Finalists.

Poor Kar Wei!

Poor her! Can't believe she's out of the contest Malaysian Idol. Her second try in the contest seemed a good start, but she wasn't chosen to get in to the top 24 despite Paul Moss's praisings. Too Bad!

Well thank goodness Daniel made it to the top 24. I was quite worried for him for his performance during the solo. Well, hopefully he'll not get everyone disappointed during the workshop.
And by the way, It's Daniel's birthday tomorrow! He's turning 23. Wish him a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Farewell Mdm Quah!

Today, the last day of Madam Quah in school.

Madam Quah is getting promoted as the Principal of SMK Lelaki Bukit Bintang starting from tomorrow. She was the Senior Assistant of Administration in Chong Hwa for 3 years, and have been a very responsible person and teacher. I could prove that as I was taught by her in Form 3.

The school arranged a farewell party for her today, which she attended with her family. Such a touching scene, I can't believe she is leaving us. But I am happy for her to be promoted.

Farewell Madam Quah, we will be missing you!

My goodness...

What the hell is wrong with her... our Physics teacher?

On monday, she called out a few of names in class, who didn't pass up a report we did a few months back. And among them......was me. I couldn't even believe it when I heard a name which sounds like mine (all teachers don't know the pronunciation of my name), until I got a strange look from my friend at the table which was nearer there. Well, I remember I passed up the report, but this teacher... I think she has a problem of keeping everything in place and 'unlost'.

Why would I say so? Because a few months back when she started teaching us, she gave a few exercises to us which were to be done on test pad. For one of the exercises, majority of the class has passed up to her, but she said that she didn't receive any except for those which she was holding (the late ones). And couple of weeks later, she found it. Geesh...

Today we got back our notebooks which were passed up to be checked by her. We weren't able to complete the last topic, but she said she would check till the previous topics only. However when we opened our notebooks today, what we saw was many question marks.

Actually she is a good teacher, but somehow she just does stuff that we don't agree with, and I have to spend time too to complete some 'lost' homework!

Initial D

This phrase is SOOO hot these days... especially since my class is half filled with Jay and Edison fans!

Recently the actors were in town to promote the movie. Of course Jay Chow and Edison were here too. And of course the fans in my class rushed to attend their shows. There was one in 1-Utama on Wednesday. Just imagine the crowd there. I got to know from Huoy Ying about the show and they really did enjoy it.

But on the other hand, my friend Fei Wen was was also there with her friend (for Edison) were not so lucky. They were pushed down by a rather fat person who actually sat on the feet of her friend and were briused very badly! And that happened right when Edison appeared on stage! Poor them!

Though I'm not a fan, I too hope that I have the chance to watch the movie. After all it's the the first movie of Jay Chow...

I'm Back!

Whew!!! Finally! I can go online again. It's been a 'stressful' 3 weeks not being able to surf internet, it's proved that I'm a computer addict!

How happy I was when we saw that the computer is loaded with Windows XP, how overjoyed we were! But damn it...something's wrong with it, so gotta send it back for repair. We didn't hold so much hope for the XP when it came home, but thank goodness the computer works. Though the internet Explorer is a bit slow. Boo...

Anywayz, glad to be back!

Wish come true... Kingdom Of Heaven

I'm feeling very tired now, especially my legs. I've been spending my time walking... around KLCC!

Usually the purpose of going to KLCC is to watch movie, or just to accompany any relatives who invite us to go. Today, I went to wacth Kingdom of Heaven

I was with my friends, quite a small number, with only 2 of my girl friends Jane Ley and Huoy Ying. Though we girls sometimes feel a little 'excluded' from the group (with more than 6 boys!), we still had a great time. It's just really fun for me that I can go out and spend some time with my friends, because for me I have little chance of meeting my friends outside school.

The movie was at 11.30am. We had tickets booked, but it was unnecessary since the cinema wasn't even half full. Some other boys went to watch Star Wars 3 instead, coz...they are boys! And they think KOH is boring. So I'm really thankful to the boys (Boon Yung, Jian Shin and Sai Hoe) who are patient enough to watch the movie with us. We were late for the movie because of the drinks...huh? Yup, the Coke we bought were really tasteless, they might have added water into it. And so we had it changed...and then they gave us non-ice but cool drinks! Haha! Thanks to Boon Yung! Inside the cinema, huoy Ying and I had very 'strategic' seats... right below the A/C. We got colder and colder and finally, even my legs were shaking! GgrGgrGgr! Just imagine it, watching killing scenes in a freezing condition! My hands were even numb! Though, we had a great time, while watching we joked around with Jane Ley (the movie-craze), she has such good experience in watching movies that she could even predict what would happen next. Of course, my focus was on who else but Orlando Bloom. Balian, the son of Godfrey, I feel that he was really a brave, intelligient and repent person. As of Saladin, he is a fair and reliable man. The movie ended at 2pm.

After that, we met up with the Wars boys and had a late lunch at Burger King. My first time there, and I did some foolish actions...so 'yu sai'! Huoy Ying left at 3.30pm for tuition. We went on to have a tour around Isetan coz I was looking for a nice book for my autograph book. Search in vain. we proceeded to Kinokuniya, none suitable, so I ended up checking out the books with my friends. Couldn't buy them, you know the price of the books...so 'beautiful'...

Finally we were to leave at around 5.30pm. But then, it was peak hour already, so at the LRT station it was all about queuing at waiting. The train came really late (more than 10 minutes), but we had to miss 2 trains before finally 3 of us managed to squeeze into one. But then, Boon Yung was left outside for he failed to find the really really limited space to occupy him. I wonder if he got hurt when the door closed. Hopefully not.

I reached home at 6.15pm, with my whole body feeling tired and my legs feeling ache. And half an hour later, the whole family went for a walk (walk again?) while checking out a few houses which are on sale. Thank goodness they didn't go jogging, coz they would make me feel guilty for not exercising!

Ahh! A tiring day, and hopefully I'll have a good night's sleep! Dream of Balian!
