Sardines are nice to eat, but not nice to be.
Especially when the LRT station is so packed with rows and rows of people and you have seen many trains leave without you and when you do not even know where the queue you are in leads to.
Especially when the LRT is AGAIN in UNSCHEDULED DELAY which have been a common 'treat' ever since I traveled to Cheras and back.
The last place I want to be is the LRT and LRT station. When my relatives come down to KL from Kedah, they would brng the kids to have a ride in the LRT. But those little nieces and nephews never know my story. HAHA!
Sat for General Biology paper today. Almost fainted during revision. Wondering why we had to study so much about xylem and phloem and germination and photosynthesis bla bla bla when... WE ARE NOT PLANTS??!
And sometimes I do wonder, since we humans are studying exploring so much about the world, history and all, do animals too have their own books and library collections? Hehehe... they do have their languages, so do they 'write' them research down?
Halfway through the paper, it started raining cats and dogs and rats and frogs... distracting noise.
And suddenly a huge BOOM in front of the exam hall!!! The thunder STRUCK our building!!!
Nice show... then went on with my paper...
Reached home at about 7.25pm. It was still drizzling.
我在淋雨中...

Alien again
Went for blood donation today.
Almost forgot that my blood vessels are 'abnormally' located. Alien again...
Yup, my blood is still red.
Get sleepy easily. The fact that I have to digest and absorb the tons of Biological terms and the unfinished report.
AND accounting, computing studies, probability & statistics.
Ain't much compared to degree courses, I know...
And thanks to the Biology lecturer who changed the date of our last practical (and I did not know...REALLY) that I saved 6 hours (3 hours transport and 3 hours lab time) which can really be spent more meaningfully!! Anyway, thanks to the guys who did the experiments...
Final Exam coming. Really should be studying now. But waiting for someone to send over the result. I'm still waiting... damn.

FLYING!!!

Cheng Beng
Apparently, cheng beng this year was much celebrated.
Proofed by the traffic jam on North-South HigHway in the wee hours of 2 AM!!
Right, and I reached home only at 3.40 AM!! It was already jammed some distance after the Ipoh toll. Dad had to exit the highway and chose the trunk roads, or we would still be stuck there and only reach by 5 or 6 am!
And, I was in U by 7.10am! Coz my dad had to send YZ to UKM. At least I did not need to take the LRT...
This cheng beng was quite a different one. Firstly, my cousin was hospitalised for bladder infection. (Wasn't necessary to be in private hospital, which really eats the patient's pocket!) And so, her parents (one of whom I've 'mentioned' earlier) weren't around. doesn't matter though ;p
On mom's side, grandpa and grandma's cheng beng was on Sunday. different from previous years, this time the sunshine wasn't too hot. No need of playing hide and seek with the sun! Ahaha!
Got to spend the afternoon at Star Parade since we were only leaving at night. We had LAKSA!!! Hmm... superb! Such a heaven for delicacies! Oh too bad, we won't be returning til end of the year...

homecoming
err... not really. Haha.
Went to Chong Hwa OFFICIALLY today! (after much consideration ;P ) It's like 3 years since I've taken public bus to school. At least now I do not need to change buses.
Finally collected my SPM certificate! Then hang around at the school like a fool (somehow most of my friends have taken theirs...) til their classes finish.
Had a chance to talk to Pn Ng when I saw her in class (that means I disturbed her class ;p). She looks so thin now... Probably she still doesn't remember my name... but know me as my sister's sister...!
Anyway, seems like everyone (yup, those friends) were the same as ever. Juen just screamed and shouted and jumped around...with big actions as usual... when she saw me. '_'ll
Met some of the other old friends like Pui Yeng, Wai Hong, Shuwen, Huoy Ying... Hmm... Everyone looks good in their uniforms! Kekeke...
Theng was absent. Wei was still the same her. Cool. Smart. Attractive~haha! Had a long chat with her. Then Ley Ley came! This cute 'lil' gurl skipped class~~!! Wahaha!
Ley Ley ar, dun oways play play liao la... A Level is more important! Study lar!
Thought I could have a long chat with Kathleen. Apparently, she pit dai me! Arghhhh...
Sports Club now must be a lot more fun... when the six-formers are sentenced with the co-curriculum order! People like Wei and Theng never showed up last year...sweat. Though I'm truly bad in sports, still love the fun of it!
Chong Hwa is changing now... students, teachers, canteen hawkers, surrounding. There are some boards bout school vision blablabla... hung around the school building, which i bet not many people really note of! Two shelters, a TV at the canteen (which works!!), a 'Tennis wall'...
Didn't see the principal... saw that Pn Zurina got more plump!
Oh, and the school got smaller... the area that is... government chinese schools are so kesian...
Will be some time til I meet them again. Hope I get to join their sports club activity next time.
ALL THE BEST guys!

two birthdays
It should be fun to have two birthdays in a row. If 24 hours aren't enough for you.
Today is my "Chinese" birthday! Haha... that is, my birthday following the Chinese calendar.
Can't believe I'm now in the last year of my teenage. Don't feel like growing up into an adult. It seems a lot that have changed this past year. My dreams, my aim, my life, my carrier, my personality.
If last year I was free and hanging around, this year I am preparing for my final exam and degree program for next semester.
If last year I was still busy applying for the numerous scholarship and deciding my future, I am almost settled down this year.
If last year I was still scrambling around with my guitar not knowing whether my strokes or strumming ways are proper, Then I'd say I am a lil better this time.
If last year I was still trying to get more news about F4's concert in Hong Kong, This year, I'm stuck with Rynn Lim!! (I still like F4 though... ;p )
Life was slow, but much. Strangely... People come, and go...
Some old friends still in contact, some seem to be lost in the air. Some new friends are nice, some... you'll have to find out later.
Don't judge a book by it's cover.
Anyway, relatives are coming tonite, should I ask for angpau? Haha...
祝我生日快乐。 ;)

IT'S MY DAY!!! my lonely birthday...
I wonder if I've been waiting for this day...
Anyway, it's MY BIRTHDAY TODAY!!!
March 22nd... always thought this date was the most beautiful date...muahahahaha.....
It's kinda boring to be having this day without dad and YZ around... feels lonely.
It's a thurday, and it has started pouring outside. If not for the monitor which went crazy last night, I would have been on my way back home. Arghhh...
Anyway, I try to make myself as happy as ever. As people wishes us "happy Birthday". But the level of happiness dropped a little since I cannot get online at home... (here i come again...)
No celebration today... since dad isn't around. Unless the roti canai from Auntie Cheong (who shares the same birthday!) counts! Hahaha... It's a heaven that I can rest a while after the hectic assignments...and group members.
Giving myself a treat by not touching anything academic...! Hanging around, watching teevee, playing guitar, and eating! But will have nothing to do tonite then... hmm...
Wish Jens a happy birthday too! ALl the best to him in his upcoming exam!!
Thanks for the wishes, everyone! ;D

Terrified
A terrifying evening indeed.
As I wasn't able to cross the road quickly today, because of the cars that kept coming, little did I know that 10 minutes later I would be so thankful for not doing that fast.
For a while later, I heard a huge scream and saw a malay guy snatching a malay woman's belonging!! It was just on the pavement that pedestrians often use. Th woman obviously had no intention of giving up and kept struggling with the thief even until they reached the Waja waiting for them up the road! In the end, however, I guess the thief had their way.
I as a pedestrian, wasn't able to help out anything. Now I experience how helpless women are when it comes to this. The theives must have targeted the lady when they drove down the road. Recalling, I remember seeing a Waja dropping off someone at the sidewalk. After crossing the road, I recall the snatch thief walking in front very weirdly. The thieves in the car must have targeted the lady as they came down the road. And the car passed by me... I was so close to being a victim! So thankful that I am here, safe and sound. Sadhu Sadhu Sadhu.
Though not the victim, I gradually get frightened of the incident. Today onwards, I will be so much nervous whenever I walk back home. And probably my ctions were right. People out there! Especially the TARC or UTAR students, better not to walk on the pavement; or if you need to, watch out for cars and motorbikes!! And, don't use or hold your handphone or purse while walking!
Hope the lady is okay now. Take care guys... be aware!!

YESterday
A historical day again.
We finally got a digital camera after the long wait. Haven't had a family camera ever since the last one (film camera) went blur... thus, 'broken down'. Though that relative of ours said he would offer the same cam with 50 ringgit less, I doubt it... If he was willing to give in, then he would have offered a good price in the beginning.
Anyway, saitsfied with our choice. ;)
March 18 2007 is just as important. Koo Kien Keat and Tan Boon Heong did it again!!! THE CHAMPION OF SWISS OPEN 2007!!! Such an exciting game, both in semi-finals as well as finals! Rubble sets.... whew... got me jumping up and down!! And of course, shouting, screaming, groaning! Wahahahahaha......
After this day, the 'tragedy' comes... Kien Keat and Boon Heong to shave off their hair!!!
So sad... had to have a last good look of their hair last night...
~~~
10 years ago, on the same day, a truly really sad day. Have never thought my grandfather would leave us. It was an evening, still cold. Had never seen my dad with such a terrible look on the phone.
Mom was back in Malaysia then. Unfortunately the 4 of us in Beijing weren't able to say goodby to grandpa. How I miss him. Dad must be missing him so much more...
19
Somehow, there's a new record of the most number of A's achieved in SPM.
19 A's. Which turned out to be 18?
For many people (especially adults, who have children), they would say. "Wow, see how brilliant!" And would start the comparing and 'motivation' with their children. They would pay so much attention on the number of A's, on the results of exams.
If you are a Malaysian, you'd know the standard of this particular exam. And, ... (there are things which we 'should not' say too much here...)
Anyway, what's the purpose of taking so many subjects when you are actually goin one path only? It is obviously a race of a number of A's, who knows there might just be a 20-A's-scorer next year? So the 'standard' of SPM will go 'higher' year by year? Come on, show your talent by your real skills, not through a long and full and beautiful result slip!
It's only a few days from being 19. Feel a bit heavy, having to leave 18. Maybe 18 sounds better...haha... sounds more relaxing and free. 19 will be a start of a new part of life... will be facing a lot of unknowns. No more sitting around, no more surfing the net without any assignments or projects in mind. No more lazing around.
I do hope I would still have time to play my beloved guitar. Ooh... I have to!
Or I would go crazy!!!
19. Sounds old or elder for the younsters; sounds young for the adults. Some 19-year-olds have achieve something in life, some are still looking for their future, some might have lost their way, some are striving hard to live a life.
Some guy at Taiwan might have made a fame from his talents in music, being able to play numerous musical instruments and having a composing talent. At 19.
Some gurl in M'sia has just known how to do some strokes and strumm badly on the guitar.
Such big variety of people in this world. Some envy others. Some just don't give a damn.
Oops... now I'm doing the comparing...sweat...
Well, Doesn't matter. As long as I do my best. So much that I want to do. ;P
本性难移
人,活到了一把年纪,想法竟是如此,真可悲。
连我这个后辈的,都以对他们非常绝望。
真没想到,自己的亲戚也会是如此的固执!自大!厚脸皮!无知!!!
日子越久,他们越过分。连一直以来忍着他们的人都发火了,可以想象事情的严重性吧。。。
也许该庆幸当天他没来,要不然,真丢了我们的面子!
不来就不来,以为我们很稀罕吗?哼!
唉。。。
很庆幸自己生长在一个有教养,有规律的家庭。虽然烦恼还是存在,但至少我们懂得生活的基本方式,懂得打理自己的生活。
很庆幸父母亲让我们从小就学习怎么生活。虽然有保母,但也不让我们几个小瓜被宠坏。如今我身边的小朋友们或许很‘幸福’,有女佣伺候着,生活无忧无虑,很自在,要什么有什么,甚至是衣来伸手,饭来张口。但是,他们或多或少失去了基本的生活能力,将来的日子会面对很多问题。
先苦后甜,是有道理的。
different worlds
It isn't so easy studying at a private institute.
Especially IF you come from a middle-class family.
Many would think that getting out of secondary school is a heavenly thing. You won't need to be restricted by the discipline rules, and no need of wearing the ever boring school uniform anymore. Somehow, wearing school uniform isn't a bad thing afterall. Either you wear a brand new one, of a color-worn-out old uniform, no one will really care.
But if you do that at a private college or university, you yourself will feel so bad. You might be stared, or you just feel so strange walking or sitting among peole who dress like they are going for a party.
Especially for a person who spend a lot less on clothings and dressing, like me. It's quite a stressful thing to have to dress differently everyday from the limited size of wadrobe. I wonder how the girls ever have the will and time to dress up with 5-6 pieces of small clothigns jumbled up together then wear 3-4 pieces of necklaces and then make the hair pop up or tied up so that it looks most contra from among the students.
Educational-wise too. When some people know that you are on scholarship, they tend to rely on you. From leaving assignments to your charge until wanting you to 'help' them during tests. And the fact that I feel very weird whenever people start to 'praise' me or stating how 'bad' they are... '_'ll
Recently, our General Biology class has increased 2 times, because of the new special batch of students mostly from Nigeria. This made our lassroom even more packed than before. Worse is, you know... as quoted by some friends, the balcks have a habit of not changing their clothes and recycling them! So, in order to 'solve' this problem, they use a lot of perfume.
You would expect a huge 'scent' whenever you are around them. The worst thing is, when a group of blacks are together, they produce thousands of different scents...or STINK! It's VERY unbearable!!! It can actually make you dizzy!!!
*I wonder how I survived during the time at Pakistan College Beijing. Probably there weren't so many blacks then. And probably.... they change their clothes...*
And since they are from overseas, it's quite a sure thing that they come from rich families. And of rich familes, you would expect majority of them come not to study, but to spend their time, and show their faces...for a few minutes.
Yes, and that's the fact of 60% of the African students in bio class. Some will come in the beginning of the class, and leave just as the lecturer starts lecture. Some would come halfway through class, sign attendance then leave. Some just come almost the end of class, and manage to leave even before class ends! Obviously, they are there just to greet their friends, and sign attendance!
Somehow, they are short of some cells in the brain, or they just don't have a heart. Don't they think they would disturb the other students who were actually listening to the lecture? At least, they disturb ME! They just keep passing around through the seats, blocking people, knocking people, and even knocked off people's stuff on the desk! It's SOOOO IRRITATING AND FRUSTRATING!!!
Pity on them...
LeeHom craze
Wanna post some pictures of the concert, got some from Sin Chew Daily article, while I wait for Kathleen's photos.
The Grand opening. (Like David Tao) he came down from up above the stage, waving a flag like he's off to war! Haha... Later he jumped off the platform and 'fought' off the 'bad people'! Hehe...
He's good at guitars! (But somehow I prefer seeing DT playing guitar...) He is seen here with Jamie Wilson, who was one of the guitarists at DT concert too! He's Malaysian, haha!
Long-waited JJ Lin!!! Obviously I was most excited when JJ appeared. '_'ll He sang LeeHom's "Ni Bu Zai" (你不在) on the piano, while LeeHom mixed in with JJ's "Jiang Nan" (江南)! SUPERB! Later on, JJ sang his new single "Wang Ji" (忘记), one of my favourite hits, and brought out a fast number "Bo Jian Dai" (波间带). *It's strange, I go to JJ's cncert for Rynn, I go to LeeHom's concert for JJ...yikes!)
One main attraction... his MOVES!! This was when he was in really 'high' atmosphere... near the end of the concert.
End of show. LeeHom at his highest!!! Haha... His dancers helped him through all that mess!
Different Excitement!
Ended my CNY with much excitement.
On the Chap Goh Meh eve, we had a house-warming cum open-house session at our new home. Wasn't really us youngters' party, as 90% of the guests were my parents'. Anyway, Though I had as little as 3 guests, I seem more busy than my sisters! YZ was busy chatting with her friend (yes, and only that), JY was somewhere... I dunno. Then, I kept running in and out taking the stuff into the house. No big deal. But it seems an achievement to me, haha... for a person who is so timid and cowardly (oops...) at meeting people, this was the day I smiled the most! (okay, for this few months...) Looks like I really need a special push to get up and greet the guests automatically! Geesh...
So busy, yet kinda fun. Though I don't know or recognise a lot of the uncles and aunties, it's still nice to be able to meet some old (parents') friends again, like the uncles we knew in Beijing. And my house was never so presentable...haha! It's a pity my so-called friends "couldn't" (or they just don't bother to) make it.
Really thankful to Hui Ping who joined in the party, unfortunately I couldn't entertain her much. And the friends from guitar class too, "Thanks for coming!" It seemed the tables weren't enough! And ooh, Kathleen! So disappointed that you did not come, and which was very unfortunate as you missed out the handsome guy!!! ;P
My relatives were here, almost all crowding in the living room. They came from Kedah, Johor, and even Singapore!! Earlier the day, the scene was similar to the CNY 3rd day, when mom's family gather at uncle's house in Kedah. My grandma only came last minute, however, much appreciated.
And the food! What a huge variety! Too bad I only ate at around 10pm, much of the food were already in others' stomachs! The cendol was superb, direct from Klang! The popiah was a special delicacy! Yummy yummy!!
After all that, it was time to settle down. No one really knows that I had two papers to sit on Monday! Thank goodness there was a relative's maid to help out with the chores. So I get to take leave the next day! Hehe...
The Concert!
A long-waited concert! Um... for the Leehom fans. Finally, we got the tickets, quite far above the stage, but good enough.
Anyway, on the highest level of Bukit Jalil stadium, just imagine how small Leehom was. His performance was fine, but didn't seem as 'high' as that of Taiwan's or Hong Kong's (or maybe I'm wrong).
As usual, I screamed like an idiot! Kathleen must have been so surprised! Haha... (It's fun to scream, you know...) Lee Hom liked to 'play play' with the audience, kept bringing the fans to the highest with his phrases and songs and talents. And, the band palying behind him, was actually led by Kheng Long, the ever talented and wonderful Malaysian musician who was also the music director of David Tao's concert! There was Mat Nor, Jamie Wilson and David Tan as well! (Kinda miss DT's concert then...)
First time spending Chap Goh Meh or 元宵节 this way! Never really clerbated it or went throwing mandarin oranges into a Titiwangsa lake. I wonder if we can ride in the Eye of Malaysia and throw the oranges from up there! ;P That will be fun!
Anyway, it's different this year, I spent the night with (my sisters and) Kathleen! Muahahaha...
Happy New Year!
Such a Chinese New Year celebration I had. Falling sick on the second day of CNY was a bad time... Imagine when we were eating away the same time during the previous years, my sisters and I had only porridge and some eggs this day! Whew... thank goodness we were feeling better the next day, in time for the gathering with the relatives on mom's side... or we would have missed out A LOT!!!
Somehow the main focus isn't about angpaus this year... well I get less money this year...boo...
It seems I look forward more to gathering with my relatives...and friends (too bad, some friends don't give a damn...). Found a few of my cousins changing... looks-wise, of course. and turning more gorgeous! ;P Even my sister was a big surprise. She was the only one wearing skirt while the other two of us had trousers! Hahaha!
It seems I'm the only one not changing...hmm...no one SEES it yet..!
Joined a gathering at Boon Yung's house last Saturday, get to see the same gang, same friends whom I have not met for a few months. As usual, the so called 5566 gang weren't here... it seems there's never a gathering which they have attended...geesh.
Later we went to Dream House Restaurant at Prima Setapak. And guess what, (well...guess some of you might have known), the manager of the shop is one of the finalist of Project Superstar last year!!! And he is Max Chong! No wonder I see a familiar face when I entered the place. The restaurant is Somewhat a Halo Cafe style (right, I've never been here also), except that it was extremely deserted (2 customers!!). (Max and his girlfriend cooked for us! Haha!) There were guitars and a piano, which was a heaven to me! Since Max was a composer cum singer, he presented a few songs for us... and of course, he is good! It's a wonder he can compose Chinese songs so beautifully!
CNY ain't an easy time either. There is mid-term exam and assignments, and... this weekend will be so hectic for us!!! Coz there's a house-warming at our house, and our relatives are coming down all the way from Kedah and Johor by tonight! The house will be SO conjested!! But then, hopefully it would be an enjoyable though busy time. Call it house-warming, it is actually more like open-house for my dad. Well, at least I have such few guests, somehow those so-called 'friends' don't even bother to attend... (well, people change...)
Looks like I won't be online for some time...again... until when I need to do assignments (which I should be starting). Okay then, Chaos!
by the way, HAPPY NEW YEAR to all of you!
whew
Finally got to rest myself for a while. Believe it or not, I had my dinner at 10pm just now.
Or do you call that 'supper'? Anyway, all because CNY is approaching, we gotta do up all the unfinished business ever since we moved in. The furnitures was finally here last friday, and a hell of time we had, only getting to wash ourselves up at 12AM later... yet, there are still hell lots of things not done. My goodness...
Anyway, any fan of badminton here? Haha... kinda got attached to a Chinese player, not very handsome, but very cute! akakakakakakaaa......
This tall guy is Bao Chunlai!!
Just found out that though he holds his racket with his left hand, he writes (or signs autograph..?) using right hand! Hehe... interesting!
HaPpY ChInEsE NeW YeAr!!!
怒 , 气
最近似乎很爱说废话。
而因说了‘不该说’的一些话,竟被骂得狗血淋头。
说了话给人笑,会死吗?不会死,对不对?
我管他人爱笑不笑呀,我又没犯罪。如果你是为了面子,那随便你,反正我总是搞一些可笑的事。反正我的存在根本是个笑话。
不过,我依然存在,而且我也是个人。
目击了一个很残酷的画面。她竟然为了小事发狂的砸破那些宝贝小茶壶!本来是不小心撞倒一些而已,可是之后竟然拿其他的出气!!难以置信,一个爱节省的人会作出这种事!
我俩当然伤心透了。。。那虽然是别人送的,但却是我们最爱的摆设品呀!
逃不了的,错。。 还是在于我身上。‘是我不把另一边的东西收好,害得她碰倒那茶壶架,所以她一时在气头上才砸碎其他的。。。’对吗?
或者,要是那架子没摆在那里,就没事了?
为何我们闯祸,得自己负担,而别人干的好事,也是我的错??难道我存在的目的是当个替死鬼吗?
如果她是火,那我会是炭。火烧炭的开始,虽然火很热,或许炭只会些温热。以大火烧炭,炭会变得很热。而更猛烈的火持续地烧炭,那炭会开始发烫,变得火红。万一爆发起来,会是个很大的伤害。
她和我的关系就类似这样。她一直在嫌弃,大骂,让我根本毫无退路。我试着关心她,帮助她,她却看不见,然而我的每一个缺点,她铭记在心理,而且不时的搬出来为难我!
我忍。
我的缺点我认了。我忍。
我不说话。我忍。
反正我说的话,她听不进。我忍。
她的缺点我早察觉到了。我忍。
偶尔我发出一些火花,却成为她另一些攻击用具。我还得忍。
忍到什么时候呀,我不晓得。知道的是,要与她正面沟通,犹如登世界最高峰,很难,很难。。。
虽说我们有念佛学,必须懂得体谅,包容别人,但这并不表示不念佛学就有借口不顾一切乱发脾气!我们哪天就算不爆发出来,也有可能得到忧郁症的!!
如今,有无数时候,我不懂得怎么面对你们。我们长大了,你们希望我们会为一些事情做决定,但却想要那决定与你们一样。表面上似乎给了咱们更多自由,事实上却更约束我们的行动。
该怎么办呢?哎。。。。。。
目击了一个很残酷的画面。她竟然为了小事发狂的砸破那些宝贝小茶壶!本来是不小心撞倒一些而已,可是之后竟然拿其他的出气!!难以置信,一个爱节省的人会作出这种事!
我俩当然伤心透了。。。那虽然是别人送的,但却是我们最爱的摆设品呀!
逃不了的,错。。 还是在于我身上。‘是我不把另一边的东西收好,害得她碰倒那茶壶架,所以她一时在气头上才砸碎其他的。。。’对吗?
或者,要是那架子没摆在那里,就没事了?
为何我们闯祸,得自己负担,而别人干的好事,也是我的错??难道我存在的目的是当个替死鬼吗?
如果她是火,那我会是炭。火烧炭的开始,虽然火很热,或许炭只会些温热。以大火烧炭,炭会变得很热。而更猛烈的火持续地烧炭,那炭会开始发烫,变得火红。万一爆发起来,会是个很大的伤害。
她和我的关系就类似这样。她一直在嫌弃,大骂,让我根本毫无退路。我试着关心她,帮助她,她却看不见,然而我的每一个缺点,她铭记在心理,而且不时的搬出来为难我!
我忍。
我的缺点我认了。我忍。
我不说话。我忍。
反正我说的话,她听不进。我忍。
她的缺点我早察觉到了。我忍。
偶尔我发出一些火花,却成为她另一些攻击用具。我还得忍。
忍到什么时候呀,我不晓得。知道的是,要与她正面沟通,犹如登世界最高峰,很难,很难。。。
虽说我们有念佛学,必须懂得体谅,包容别人,但这并不表示不念佛学就有借口不顾一切乱发脾气!我们哪天就算不爆发出来,也有可能得到忧郁症的!!
如今,有无数时候,我不懂得怎么面对你们。我们长大了,你们希望我们会为一些事情做决定,但却想要那决定与你们一样。表面上似乎给了咱们更多自由,事实上却更约束我们的行动。
该怎么办呢?哎。。。。。。
oh... finally!
Gosh... was kinda surprised and nervous when mom told me to take the car yesterday...
My first time taking our dear old Honda!!!
Though making mistakes sometimes, and hearing my mom nagging away, found out that it wasn't too hard taking a big car... yea, compared to the Kancil. Well of course, it was auto-geared!
It was a day off yesterday, so dragged myself up to do some exercise in the morning. And strangely, went shopping alone at Jusco in the morning! Rite, I never go shopping alone. Moreover, in the wee hours of the day. Duhh...
Somehow, I'm feeling ill today... headache, sleepy, tired. And non-stopping sneezes and nose-itching. Maybe a cold or fever is coming... hope not. Don't have any medicine with me this time. Better not collapse before returning home! Not having duty, I'm sitting at the computer lab, wasting my time. Well, don't have mood for anything except sleep...
Anyway, CNY coming, excited!!
All about New Tunes...
It was such a sleepy day for me today, catching a nap at every chance I'd get.
All because of of the concert of UKM's NTLP. Overall the concert ain't bad, quite 'okay' for a university standard. Wish there was such an event in UCSI though...
Only, It was not really what I had expected... or rather, I had too high of expectance. And, the music background were much the same, only a few songs stood out with their different tunes.
The songs presented might be quite meaningful and nice, but they almost sounded 'too normal' to us. Majority of the songs had the singing drowned out by the huge drum and guitar sounds, which made it difficult to hear the music or understand the lyrics. What a pity...
One thing, one thing which was a major negative contribution to my drowsiness last night and today is... what our country people are so good at... BEING LATE!!! Who else but the VIP... Dato' Sri Ong!!! How long was he late... ONE HOUR!!! Damn it... how tough was it to go there on a Sunday evening??! AND, he was the first to leave!! And that caused the concert to last till Midnight--12am. And I had class on the next morning... whole day... ahh great...
永别了
“许伟伦去世了。”
这消息来得如此振叹,难以置信,我却知道那是真的。
虽然不是她的歌迷影迷,但对她的印象不前,所以心里总是感觉酸酸的。
世事无长,车祸更难以预料。大概十年前,张雨生也是这样走的。其实艺人也是人类,也会发生意外,也要受保护。。。
该走的,始终会走。
永别了,伟伦。
逃避
最终,还是必须选择逃避。
绕了一大圈,终究回到原点。心情一次又一次被推下深谷。为何我们的关系总是因她而遭破坏。。。
为什么每一次都显得是我们的错?
难道我的要求那么过分吗?
我安静,不代表我接受。
我闭嘴,不代表我认同。
我不要求,并不表示我很满足。
或许是因为从小就是个话不多的人,所以他们不知道我心里想的是什么,更不理会我要的是什么。但人性始终会变的。我开始发表意见时,他们却不愿意接受。
他们,也是只想逃避。
不想面对在改变的我们,在变化的世界。
不接受,不聆听,形成了最大的距离。沟通出现问题。感情也就出现裂痕。
其实我是很爱他们的,他们不晓得。也许,我爱得不够,我付出的不多。。。
也许,我该像她一样,离开。
离开一阵子,我会更爱大家,会更珍惜他们。
只是,我不知道,他们是否也会这样。。。 。。。
refresh
Got tired of my blog's template. Wasn't quite my favorite color anyway.
Finally resolved to this one. Seems to me a winter-like place. Like the snowing winter in Beijing.
These were taken from the windows of our apartment.
The happiest of winter was to wake up in the morning welcomed by the moderately heavy snow. Then the whole day would be spent outdoors.
木头
最近不知怎么啦。感觉很纳闷,很无奈。
最近变得很讨厌自己,甚至开始恨这个世界。
心里有种气,闷着,发泄不了。。。
佛堂上课时,老师要我们进行交友活动,我很不幸的,被配选了一个年级比较小的男生。而且,它是个‘木头’,更是个‘香蕉人’。那更没话说了。害得老师要来敲一敲我们。哎,感觉像再看以前的我,真受不了!
这年头有点衰。好像回到从前的我了。在大学交朋友真难,更何况我念的科系,更是雪上加霜。多希望我不会是系上唯一的女生,不知以后的日子该怎么熬呀。。。
是不是自己闷骚了,竟然在学校发了点脾气。不过那个人是该‘骂’的,谁叫他那么重色!还有那些人,撞墙吧!!
New Year
This is the first post of the year.
It's weird. There seems to be no sense of new year in myself. Still tagging along with the past. Hmm...
There wasn't much celebration of the New Year for me. Had hoped to join the fun at Sungei Wang, where Rynn was attending a Countdown Party, but... ah, you've guessed it.
So all I did was sticking to the TV trying to catch every bit of Rynn, having some red wine and Tobelrone to celebrate. Unfortunately, the MCs were too talkative and too noisy that Rynn wasn't interviewed before the live telecast ended.
So much feeling of down these days. I wonder why. Might be because of my studies, or my family, or my friends. Or Rynn. So frustrating, thinking of the beloved photos taken with him just lost like that. Well, my sister is lucky, she got had a 'new' second-hand phone (while I'm still wondering when I'll get mine). But the sweet memories would only be in my mind, might even fade away, and I have lost the photos forever...
What will become of me this year? A source says that those of Aries will be quite lucky. I wonder, I doubt, I hope. It will definitely be a tough year.
New year resolution? To work harder in my studies.
It's the same for every year. Plus, I hope to wash away my bad habits.
Easier said than done.
zero six to zero seven
It's strange. How fast the year has passed by so quickly.
However, a year which seems a big twist in my life.
This year had been the most relaxing year ever since I returned from Beijing. Though not having classes or school for the first 4 months, tension was raised by the few applications and interviews for my tertier education. It was a hectic time trying to decide the courses as well as meeting the deadlines and appointments.
Having achieved something, I thought I would be following my sister's footstep. Like what most of my friends did. Ending secondary school, I have stepped into the life of a university student, though I have never imagined myself joining a private institute. For the first time, I have travelled alone in public transport to somewhere almost 50 kilometers away.
Because of this, I had more time to do other things, as compared to my friends (though I know it would be different when I enter first year of degree course). Had much more time, to miss the days in Beijing.
I took some guitar classes, which, I had tried to pick up by myself two years back. Finally, I found some noise turning into sound. Hah!
Then, at the end of the year, we get to move into our new house, thought it ain't fully furnished yet. It's fun and comfortable living in a much bigger place, however, the faulties found here and there really do drive us crazy! As you know, I've complained so much about the contractor...
What's most interesting about this year was, the number of showcases and concerts I have attended! Yup, it was so cool and felt so great getting to see the artists. There was Rynn Lim's mini concert, which I won VIP tickets, as well as for Jin Sha's mini concert, which came along with a bonus meet-the-artists session! The first time I get so up-close with artists! (Gotta say, Rynn and Jin Sha were very very friendly people!) You can't imagine how I tried every way to get close to them... hehe... There was JJ's concert, and well, our main aim was the see the guest artist... Rynn Lim. But I DID enjoy JJ's show!
Ooh, and the bombastic David Tao was back! Delaying his concert for almost half a year, I finally get to watch his performance live! As a friend said, he is really cool for an 'old man'.
Not to forget, Michael Wong and Stefanie Sun's concerts were also great times. Though never quite a fan, it was fun to cheer and scream along with the crowd. I never get to do that at home.
Having less exposed to textbooks, I've learned quite some 'facts' about life. One thing is friendship. This is a simple, yet complicated thing. Through the year, I have found some nice new friends. Though, out of these friends, some are easy to mix with, while with some others, it felt strange even to have a little chat.
Friendship lasts forever. Or does it? I am maintaining friendship with some old friends. Though we seldom meet, we do chat through messenger or phone. However, I feel that some others don't even bother to answer an SMS, though they would say that they were afraid of losing the friendship bond during the past days.
The conclusion, Friendship is fragile.
Friends may not always be friends. Friendship does not last forever. Unless you maintain it.
Another lesson is, achievement doesn't fall from the sky. So, you should work for it, try at every opportunity. You have to find it, and try to get it. From the little things, like trying my chance to meet Rynn. Yes, it was really awkward, most people think so, so they don't do it, and lost their chance. In other cases, like pending for scholarship fund, if you don't apply, you will never get it. If you had applied but did not succeed, at least you will not feel that bad, because you have tried.
Appreciation is so important for a happy life. Realise and appreciate what you have instead of craving and grieving for what you don't have. Positive thinking is as important. Life is full of unsatisfactoriness and suffering. Everything happening around us may have positive and negative results. People tend to grief over the negative part. Try looking at the positive side, you'll find the world isn't too bad afterall. Still, everything that happened is the ripening of karma, I accept the fact.
Don't really know what to expect for this brand new year. One thing for sure, it's gonna be a much tougher year. Stepping into a world which sounds very alien to me. Hopefully I can adjust to it easily and quickly.
Hopefully the number of tragedies will decrease in our country as well as in the world. Wish so much that our family will stay together.
Wish all of you well and happy. Sadhu, sadhu, sadhu!
alien's back
Phew. Finally finished the last paper. The most exhausting one.
And finally I'm 'officially' back in this world. It's hard to live without the net, but I survived anyway.
December. One year since I finished SPM. Also a very exhausting thing.
Same time last year, we were enjoying at Payar Island. How I miss the Penang trip and the gang...
miss the adventures...
miss the siao-siao moment...
miss the food...
miss the shark...
What's hot these days is the Doha Asian Games 2006. Apparently, my favorite badminton players were kicked out in the quarter-and semi-final rounds. Not much to expect of our country's team, getting a bronze was probably good enough...
Anyway, going to Penang tomorrow, and back to Alor Star. Had been very eager about this trip, but just found out that there's disappointment behind it. Well, Rynn Lim and JJ Lin are gonna have a promotion session in KL next Friday. And I'm gonna miss it. Arghhhh... fancy missing out both the concert and the session!! I'm so sad...
Will miss Rynn a lot... JJ too...
D for David Tao
It was definitely the concert of the year!!
David Tao was finally back in Malaysia for his last stop of "Love Can World Tour" concert. After half a year of waiting, the fans must have got so much crazier!
October 28, 2006. A memorable day of my life.
The concert started at 8.30pm. There was a video of DT piloting a copter which crashed. And out came DT from the sky!! He descended in a white glittering suit, like an angel, haha. Below him, were the musicians in white, too.
The concert kicked off with his hit, [Zhao Zi Ji] (Rain). He got the crowd really groovy with his hot number [Jin Tian Mei Hui Jia] (Shanghaied).
It was so much fun when he requested the audience to stand up and groove with his music. well, it felt better standing, you know. It's much more enjoyable to sway to the beat!
Surely, every number he sang was accompanied by loud cheers andhandclaps and whistles. Giving his best in delivering more than 25 songs, his power shone throughout the night.
The Uniqueness
If you think DT is just a singer who is quite aged (compared to other popular artists) and sing mostly ballads, you're wrong. He is part of that, but not all that.
In fact, he is much more energetic than so many other artists who had held concerts. Although not dancing, he could really rock the 12000-audience to their highest (including me, of course)!!
The concert was not just another concert. It was a huge range of music, with DT switching from lounge singer mode to hip hop artiste, rock star, rapper and even dabbled in some Chinese opera at one point. I especially enjoyed the rock segment, which he presented the songs [Gui] (Ghost) and [Hei Se Liu Ding] (Black Tangerine) and followed by [Sun Zi Bin Fa] (Sun Tzu's Art of War). It was completed with the drums and guitars and everything to the bright lights, which gave the atmosphere of a truly ROCK concert!!!
His performance of [Su San Shuo] (Susan Says) was begun with a few line of Chinese Opera style, treating the fans with his talent (probably?) inherited from his mother. Hehe... truly interesting!
The Stage
The stage was pretty eye-catching as we entered the stadium. It was in a rain forest theme, with plants ang groves and bushes, and there was even a wrecked helicopter in within all the... mess.
The Band
COncerts with live bands are truly amazing! The band members were all in white, which made them look angels in within the forest. Haha... They were very fantastic throughout the concert. DT had a lot of interaction with the band, the background vocalists as well as the Mosaic (erm...rite?), comprising the violin family.
The music director was Mr Goh Kheng Long. I found him a very talented musician. On stage, he played the keyboard and piano (very touching music~!!), and was even the conductor for the little orchestra.
The band was comprised of many Malaysians as well! And this included Mr Goh!! while some others were from Singapore, Thailand, etc. Looks like DT quite recognise Malaysian musicians. *If only I had a chance...*
For background vocals, there were girls this time, who were multi-talented as well. One of them, Ke Wei, dueted the song [Jin Tian Ni Yao Jia Gei Wo] with DT. Besides, she too played the "Er Hu" in a few songs, soemtimes accompanied by the traditional flute.
There was a medley session, kinda unplugged, where David Tan, guitarist and vocalist, joined in singing some parts. He has a good voice.
During a break, once, Mohd Nor (on percussion) gave him a bottle of water, but spoke in Malay. DT doesn't understand, as he said, but I guess he arranged for it! hah!
The duet
As promised, DT invited a fan on stage for a duet. He 'finally' chose a gurl, Celine, from the VVIP section. Later did I know that she was a 'banana'. No wonder she kept speaking ang mo to DT. She managed to keep the audience 'high' (of jealousy??) One thing was, she couldn't keep her hands off DT!! Right from the moment she stepped on stage! (Wonder what Joanne will say...? Oops...)
The song sung was [Tian Tian], a beautiful song.
Love Can vs Soul Power
I would say, the Soul Power concert was a better one compared to this. All because the SP concert was focused on music. Whereas, this one was a 'typical' concert, not only focused on music, but also other 'minor' stuff like his suits, the stage, blablabla... It's a pity I didn't attended the SP's, but at least got to watch the VCD of the one held in Hong Kong.
Well of course, this was far more better than other concerts this time around. Not regrets of a the rushing and arranging. ;) Realy hoping for a next time...
I know this is late. Anyway, serves well for my reference, ;D
DT had a lot of interaction with the band, the background vocalists as well as the Mosaic (erm...rite?), comprising the violin family.
The music director was Mr Goh Kheng Long. I found him a very talented musician. On stage, he played the keyboard and piano (very touching music~!!), and was even the conductor for the little orchestra.
The band was comprised of many Malaysians as well! And this included Mr Goh!! while some others were from Singapore, Thailand, etc. Looks like DT quite recognise Malaysian musicians. *If only I had a chance...*
For background vocals, there were girls this time, who were multi-talented as well. One of them, Ke Wei, dueted the song [Jin Tian Ni Yao Jia Gei Wo] with DT. Besides, she too played the "Er Hu" in a few songs, soemtimes accompanied by the traditional flute.
There was a medley session, kinda unplugged, where David Tan, guitarist and vocalist, joined in singing some parts. He has a good voice.
During a break, once, Mohd Nor (on percussion) gave him a bottle of water, but spoke in Malay. DT doesn't understand, as he said, but I guess he arranged for it! hah!
The duet
As promised, DT invited a fan on stage for a duet. He 'finally' chose a gurl, Celine, from the VVIP section. Later did I know that she was a 'banana'. No wonder she kept speaking ang mo to DT. She managed to keep the audience 'high' (of jealousy??) One thing was, she couldn't keep her hands off DT!! Right from the moment she stepped on stage! (Wonder what Joanne will say...? Oops...)
The song sung was [Tian Tian], a beautiful song.
Love Can vs Soul Power
I would say, the Soul Power concert was a better one compared to this. All because the SP concert was focused on music. Whereas, this one was a 'typical' concert, not only focused on music, but also other 'minor' stuff like his suits, the stage, blablabla... It's a pity I didn't attended the SP's, but at least got to watch the VCD of the one held in Hong Kong.
Well of course, this was far more better than other concerts this time around. Not regrets of a the rushing and arranging. ;) Realy hoping for a next time...
Home sweet home...?
Finally, we get to move into our new house.
Somehow, our family has been moving about every five years. Year 1996, 2000, and now 2006.
Not too new a house though, but extended and renovated. It should feel good to stay in a larger place. Though it's a bit further away from the LRT station, guess it's well worth it.
Somehow I feel quite alien about this whole thing. Or rather, there seems not much atmosphere of it. And somehow, it felt more at home when I returned to the old house.
However, things never come perfect. Let's not talk about the furniture which aren't bought yet. To our dismay, many of the equipments in the house are faulty. The workers seem to have just made a mess out of everything.
Looks like there won't be much entertainment for us these few days. As long as the antenna and telephone line are not fixed. But the good news is, we are gonna have Astro! Not too keen though, compared to last time, since there are quite a lot of TV programmes on national tv. Hopefully, the broadband line will be fixedsoon, and that we get a new PC! I'm damn tired of the old one...
And hopefully, dad we bring us back to the old house to watch [The Beginning] every nite!! Haha...
The first day of moving in, my 3 aunties, all the way from Kedah, were here to visit! Looks like the some of them are more excited about the housewarming! Anyway, that won't come soon, most probably next year.
Anyway, hope to return to normal days of life.
Weird
Its been raining everyday past few weeks.
Why? Cuz the rain god, Rynn Lim is back in Malaysia! (yeah rite...)
The sad thing is, I can't go to his events.
Ahh.. my heart is weeping.
All because the family is busy with the new house. So much trouble. Renovating, cleaning, packing. Not only that, arguements, waitings, disappointments, mistakes (or merely ignorance), and... stupidity?! It all comes in a package.
But then, I'm quite eager to move into my new room which has a great view of the condominium blocks nearby. Much more of scenery and greenery as compared to the current one. Much bigger too. ;)
Rynn, I miss you so much!!!
The moral studies presentation went on this week. Tuesday's was quite 'interesting', or not, but still is unique comapred to others. The group of India girls presented a sketch to accompany their pslide presentation. The strange thing is, when the other groups are supposed to have only 2 representatives to present, this group had 4 of them speaking.
It ain't fair to us.
But although speaking loudly and much more professionally, they were seem to just reading the slides without digesting the facts. Without being able to answer the questions directed to them, they kept giving the reason that their slides went off.
That's why, don't talk too much. You've gotta think as well.
As for today's presentation, They too had three presenters. Their problem is, they seem not to had good relations among themselves.
The main speaker seem not satisfied with his members. How would someone say the class and the lecturer that their members did not put in much effort?? This would show that he thinks superior of himself. And the consequence might be that they get lower marks. Group work should be done in a group. If you've chosen the wrong members, then it's your problem.
What is life? It's quite confusing. Taking transport 3 hours per day? Studying day and night? Chasing after your favourite idol? Eat and sleep all day?
Why do we have to live? To wait for the death?
Why does rebirth take place? And that we have to strive hard to reach our goals, get enlightenment?
What if I'm reborn as an animal, a bird, a cow, a dog, a pig, whatever, or ghost, or deva? What is I have to suffer all over again?
Why should life be suffering?
Why were we in this universe in the first place?
Seems so weird. Quite tiring.
Life is so much suffering. Unsatisfactoriness.
That's why I'm here. taking 3 hours of tranport time to and fro the university. That's why I'd rather not move out to somewhere near there.
That's why I'm craving to see Rynn.
That's why we want to climb, not fall.
That's why we too have to bear with the society.
It's strange. I come all the way to UCSI from Setapak, while another friend who was an ex-student here go all the way from Bukit Jalil to TARC.
The world is upside down...
Attachment brings suffering. Crave is the cause of suffering.
By discarding crave and attachment, we live happier spiritually.
But this is easier said than done.
I'm still a long way from enlightenment.
Anyway, I'm striving for it.
There is a reason for this.
工体北
我的一位中四同学,纬娴,的父亲(也是我老爸的同事) ,早前调职到北京去了。
要说羡慕,也没什么好羡慕的。
只是,我是多么想念北京呀~!想念那儿的天气,那儿的环境,那儿的美食,那儿的感觉。。。
听过林宇中的[工体北]吧?
一过了工体北 摇头又晃脑
浪漫的北京夜 一条酒吧街
纬娴说,她好像有经过工体北,但不确定是在哪个区。我的记忆衰退了,对工体北印象不深。工人体育馆是有去过,但没想过工人体育馆北路(印象中有个菜市场)是个酒吧街!
If I’m not wrong, 可能是在“蓝桥分店” 附近吧。曾经见过那里的一条街,在晚上时是闪闪发光的,很想去看看,没机会。
另一条酒吧街是在三里屯。忘了哪条路。白天时是个街边市场,有很多小档口,是个杀价的好地方!黑夜的时候,就转变成街边街了!超级热闹的!由于三里屯位于使馆区那一带,所以那里总是有很多老外,由其在晚上的时候!
别想太多,我少到那儿的!
有看过电影[如果爱] 吗?
这部影片有很多戏是在北京取景的。而且是农历新年期间哦!看见那个冰冻的河、道路、建筑物、胡同、郊外的小房子,还有呼气时呼出的“烟” 。。。唉,好怀念北京的冬天啊~!!
得知我们的前大使的儿子目前在北京定居,好佩服,好羡慕。不知我是否也有这种机会呢?
一过了工体北 全身轻飘飘
喧闹闹的音乐 忘了我是谁
发现自己今夜哪儿都去不了
在工体北晃就好
Raya
This year's Raya is less exciting than before. Only one open house to go, that means only to enjoy the delicacies once. Boo.
Recalling, time passes so fast, the last Raya seems just a few months back. Still remember it was around SPM period.
SPM 2006 is just round the corner, but I feel it ain't long since I took the exam last year.
This is a funny year.
Anyway, I've been in university already for half a year, and I'm finishing my 2nd semester's duty. 58 hours, finally over. hopefully I can get back my duty at Engineering Lab next sem.
The family will be so busy in next few weeks. Coz we are moving!! Though our house renovation is not completed yet (thanks to the d*** contractor), I've been keen on moving into my room, which I'll share with my younger sis. The house will be bigger!!
That makes us not to arrange any recreational activity in those weeks. Booooooo... But of all that, I will not give up watching TV. At least, I MUST watch [The Beginning]!!!
There's still the performance to come up. Last weeks of practice this Saturday. Just hope I won't get silly on THE day.
Rynn Lim is returning to the country, but won't be able to see him live. So sad... But hopefully my mom won't drag me away from the TV.
And the worst thing is, my tummy has been upset continuously for past few weeks. Sweat. That's why I don't really like to eat outside food.
So much is happening. Especially this year. At this time of the year.
Ahhh... enjoy life. Maybe, maybe not. A game of ball will be enjoying. ;)
[Sing-Along] 空秋千
嘿!推荐好歌给你们哦!
这是[空秋千],电视剧[原点]的主题曲,由林宇中做词做曲及演唱。
歌词很有意思,曲子更为佳!
要是想听,每逢星期一至五晚上9.30,守候NTV7播出的[原点]喔!!
空秋千
荡秋千 来回终究要停在原点
望太远 眼前幸福却忽略
晃半圈 圆不了爱恋
高一遍 低一遍 风就吹散了永远
好想为你荡秋千 看着夕阳扮鬼脸
若月光再美一点 我们会否把手牵
好想被你碎碎念 当数流星的配乐
你却说你等不到天亮
空秋千 陪真夜
秋千和我失眠 在你影子身边
这公园太想念 你无邪的笑脸
好想为你荡秋千 看着夕阳扮鬼脸
若月光再美一点 我们会否把手牵
好想被你碎碎念 当数流星的配乐
你却说你等不到天亮
空秋千 陪真夜
DT in the House!!!
It's been 2 weeks, and I'm finally here to update it.
On October 6 2006, Friday, David Tao's KL showcase was held at Picollo Gallery at Bukit Bintang. In fact, it was in the middle of a busy road!! Wow~~! However, the stage, of course, was smaller than that of last year's which was at Sunway Lagoon.
Anyway, scheduled at 9pm, the crowd was not so big even by eight. However by nine, the place was packed. It was obvious that the crowd was smaller compared to last time. Might be because he s having other autograph sessions too at Malacca and Ipoh.
The man who came in a comfortable pink shirt sang only 2 songs, but which was quite good compared to some one other place, where he sang only one song. He delivered the hit single of the new album, [Tai Mei Li] (Beautiful), and in conjunction with the Mid-autumn festival, he sang the 'legendary' [Yue Liang Dai Biao Shei de Xin] (The Moon represents Who's Heart!). He was given a lantern which was in chicken shape!! Hehe...so cute!
Then... the autograph session!! Fortunately, a friend requested that I help her get a CD autographed, so... I got to go on stage!! Yahoo!! That was my first time seeing DT up close! And as usual, he was such a friendly guy, spoke to every fan and looked them in their eyes whole-heartedly. Yes, I admit that I was 'electrically shocked' by him!! Muahahahahahaha~~!! I was lost of words when he talked to me! Hehee... was kinda blur after that...
And even more exciting, was when we used the same concert ticket to exchange for so many postcards!! Haha... (you may call that cheating? Who cares...) This time, I prepared myself and spoke to him. Fish was in front of me, and she spoke a lot to him! And he was quite willing to respond, but the crew 'chased' her away...hehe...
And my turn, his look on the face seem to tell that he remembered me...or it was my own imagination!
Anyway, I threw out a sentence, "It's great to see you here!"
He replied, "Thank you very much!" *drool*
Then, he said, "Zhong Qiu Jie quai Le!" (Happy Mid-Autumn Festival!"
And I replied, "zhongqiujiequaile.." Haha... Was 'suprised' by that...haha...
Minutes later, he left the place. We saw him off in his company car. It was so cool, that the road was temporary blocked to give him way! WoOOosh... And he saw crazy people behind rails waving madly at him...
I didn't take any photos, but got some from a friend, Soursand!! Lots of thanks to her!!
The Stage!! Looks big huh? But it was quite small. Imagine two lanes of the road...
Give it up for David Tao!! That's him with Sam, the DJ as emcee of the showcase.
A chit-chat with DT. He spoke very interestingly.
Trying to fly??!!
Feel the charm of DT...!
It was hot!!
Singing...!
Thanks to Soursand for the photos!
Poisoned
Aarrrghh!! I was poisoned! Hmm... food poisoned, I believe. Might be the "donut hotdog" I had for lunch yesterday. This little thing upset my stomach and body so much.
My hectic day was started with that. My situation changed so dramatically that the "pau" that I like was of no appetite to me. In fact, my chest was feeling so bad that I felt like vomiting.
Had no choice but to apply some ointment and take a rest. That meant being late for my appointment. Later, my doctor cousin (who's come to stay for some while) told me to take some 100 Plus, which contained sodium and potassium which I was most probably lack of. Thankfully, I did recover a little after that.
I was late for 2 hours. Supposed to gather at university to do the Moral Studies project. Fortunately my parents sent me there, or I would have been so tired upon reaching the venue.
Anyway, the worse thing is that I have 2 mid-term exams on the day of project presentation. So unlucky, thinking that other people will only have to worry about it a month later! Haiz... It's continuation of the crazy weeks. College life is crazy, when you are free, you can be shaking ur legs. When you get busy, you don't even have to the time to shake ur head!
Later, because of the heavy rain and traffic jam, I was late for my guitar class. But still, it's better than not going.
Things come so fast and so suddenly these 2 weeks. And suddenly Yee Chung is bak again in Malaysia! And he's now the "Ai Xin Da Shi" (Loving Ambassador?)! Such a pleasant surprise... the news showed a compassionate side of him, going around greeting the patients... probably at the dialysis.
tomorrow's gonna be even more packed. Hopefully my stomch gets better, as it's starting to get painful again right now. Though I guess taht I'll be dragging my weak body for a week.
Blur blur world...
My world is so yellowish now. So blur...
All because of it... the HAZE.
Yes it's here again, since a few days ago, paying its annual visit to our country. No matter how unwelcomed it is.
I didn't really took notice of it until today. Though I did hear about it from the news. While waiting for the shuttle van today, I smelt something. The smell of about a year ago... Though it's not half as serious as it was last year, this is still very unhealthy.
Is it because of the haze that I caught a cold recently? well... maybe, or maybe it was the cold. Anyway, my throat is starting to feel itchy and constantly dry now. Definitely feels bad.
It quite an unfortunate for the haze to hit the towns at this time of the year. Especially since it's the Ramadhan now, when the Muslims are fasting. It adds the burden to them, drying out their throats even more.
This reminds me of the days a year back. I remember the principal seeming taking a 'pleasurable' walk among the haze, looking at the 'scenery'. while we, in the classroom, were shouting to him to declare holiday! You see, we have the most open-aired classrooms at school, so open that it seems there's only the roof that's protecting us. And even the ceiling was falling off some time later.
The classroom was al misty, as if we were in heaven. Only that, it felt like hell smelling the awful 'smoke'.
Right now, it might be a directly opposite situation. At university I am enclosed in air-conditioned room almost all day, so the haze doesn't affect me as much as before. Except that I am often FREEZING instead (that was how I caught my cold). So much different a situation from last year.
Such an unsuitable way of welcoming David Tao to our country again. Hope he doesn't fall sick to it. ANd hope so much that the situation would be much better tomorrow, during his showcase.
Is it because of the haze that I caught a cold recently? well... maybe, or maybe it was the cold. Anyway, my throat is starting to feel itchy and constantly dry now. Definitely feels bad.
It quite an unfortunate for the haze to hit the towns at this time of the year. Especially since it's the Ramadhan now, when the Muslims are fasting. It adds the burden to them, drying out their throats even more.
This reminds me of the days a year back. I remember the principal seeming taking a 'pleasurable' walk among the haze, looking at the 'scenery'. while we, in the classroom, were shouting to him to declare holiday! You see, we have the most open-aired classrooms at school, so open that it seems there's only the roof that's protecting us. And even the ceiling was falling off some time later.
The classroom was al misty, as if we were in heaven. Only that, it felt like hell smelling the awful 'smoke'.
Right now, it might be a directly opposite situation. At university I am enclosed in air-conditioned room almost all day, so the haze doesn't affect me as much as before. Except that I am often FREEZING instead (that was how I caught my cold). So much different a situation from last year.
Such an unsuitable way of welcoming David Tao to our country again. Hope he doesn't fall sick to it. ANd hope so much that the situation would be much better tomorrow, during his showcase.
Fairy Tale
Haha. I'm no more a kid. But sometimes, I still like fairy tales.
This, is about Michael Wong's fairy tale. Hmm... or not?
Anyway, it was a wonderful time at his concert. There were two performances, one last night, and one tonight. I guess tonight's show will be even more exciting and high!
The venue wasn't as jammed as the time during Sam Hui's concert. Maybe coz this was at the indoor stadium. And as I have guessed, the VIP tickets that we got wasn't really in front of stage. In fact, there were even VVIP, and SVVIP seats!! Wow... why let those who won't groove to the music sit so close?? geesh...
Somehow, some (or many) people seem to be there because they got complementary tics. (There was a grandma sitting next to us, who seemed to take it as a lullaby..!) Like us.
But we did enjoy it. So did the cute little girls of cousin Boon. Haha... They were another entertainment besides Michael Wong. YZ and I were as usual, the most excited one of our group. Screaming and shouting so much!
Well, I admit that I'm not such a huge fan of his, and that was why I couldn't sing along more than half the songs. Many are familiar though. Super nice ones. Most popular ones. The well-known ones. They were all so wonderful...
The concert started off with a song with a little magic and mysterious performance. 2 persons came on stage, one in white and one in black. they were both hooded, and sang the song [Tian Shi] (Angel) *Such a great melody!* Initially the one in white appeared to be Michael. After the song ended, the black one stood behind the White, and a huge "BOOM!" was heard with fireworks on stage! The lights went off, and when the stage was lighted again, the black one was standing there alone. And wala! That was Michael! Again! haha...
A good try for a great show. But their trick was caught by me. somehow, not like many people, my attention wasn't distracted by the bang and fireworks. I saw the 'black guy' 'tore' the White jacket off the 'white guy', and jumped into a hole near by. That left the white guy WEARING the same black suit! So, it was the same person, Michael!
But then, maybe it was less fun catching the trick. So guys, next time you watch magic shows, don't observe too much!
About the stage. It was a huge one, very large for the size of the audience. But that was much better, it offered more interaction between him and the audience. He agreed with that, when he stood on the extended stage in the middle.
And his suit. They were basically in white, especially his trousers. He wore strap for 2 or 3 suits, which... looks funny. Balck shirts, shiny neck-ties, and in the end, a red-colored jacket. These were it. Not very glamourious, but he looked stunning.
It was until the song [Di Yi Ci] (First Time) that I really get to sing. There was a part of the show when he appeared with a beautiful piano. I love piano performances, in fact, any musical instruments' performances. And of course, he played well. He even danced during a more groovy song. Lots of room for improvement, hehe...
When he sang [Wo Ni De Shou] (Hold Your Hand), he came down the stage to have hand shakes with the fans. However, while he was still in front, the back here was starting to get uncontrolled. This ended up with Michael not able to come shake hands with us. Oh...too bad, so unfortunate. Cousin Heck (again) managed to shake hands with him though, as he change to the front seats!
I thought he would be singing [Tong Hua] (Fairy Tale) as encore, butI was wrong. It was the so-called 'final' song. For encore, he presented a new song of his, [I Am Who I Am]. Still the same old style of his, but nice.
The concert last for about 3 hours, ending at 11.10pm. Quite satisfied, and enjoyed a lot. It may not be as exciting as JJ's concert, but it was equally good. Later on, we went for supper. By the time we reach home, it was few minutes past one.
It was a pity Jin wasn't able to go, as she will be sitting for PMR this week, starting tomorrow. Wishing her all the best. I hope she makes it through, and I know she will. Good luck, Jin!
Nevermind, she surely will attend David tao's concert!! Can't wait!
千里之外
My dad has gone out-station again.
This time, to Canada.
It is so cool to be able to go, but dad has been quite dull the whole day. It was a bit like when he had to go to Beijing 10 years ago.
Oh yeah, 10 years ago, at this time of the year, I was spending my first autumn in life, in Beijing. 6 years coming back now, I still miss it very much.
It will be a dull period next week, without dad home. And it's test week...haiz. Tons of housework and revision waiting for me.
I do hope dad will enjoy his days and stay there. after all, it's another part of the globe out there. :D
Snatched, coma
As I was having dinner last night, I heard the news on TV about someone being snatched at Masjid Jamek LRT station the night before.
Little did I know that the victim was an ex-schoolmate of mine. Till today, when I checked the news online. I was quite shocked by the incident.
The victim, Lim Sze Jian (18) is a UTAR student. He was stolen of his thousand-ringgit handphone. He's been hospitalised since early morning where he was found at Kota Raya. According to the news, he had 2 operations for his brain. He's still in coma.
The moment I got to knowof the news last night, I was worrying about my safety. It's better not to return home late. It's such a tragedy involving someone as close as an ex-schoolmate. It's such a pity that those people out there would rob materials and even lives!
Fortunately, Sze Jian is recovering now. And hopefully the culprit will be caught soon.
Though not having acquaintance with him, I still pray for him to recover well and soon.
Second Time
Finally, it was my second time to the National Blood Centre. It was yesterday, Sept 16.
And to donate blood. of course.
It was quite deserted there. Unlike last time, there were some NS trainees waiting to donate blood.
This time I used my right arm. According to the nurse, Using the writing hand will make the blood flow faster. Erm... dad doesn't believe so.
Anyway, as I have 'feared', it was the same case as last time using the left arm. As I have mentioned, the position of the injection last time was weird, kinda senget. Similar case with now! In fact, it was almost the same position of the left and right arm! Great, so my blood vessels are abnormal?? Or my skin is too thick??!!
And, like last time too, the wound of the injection was larger than my dad's. Strange. Am I so much different from others?
Had some trouble later when I attended guitar class. the hole poked in my left middle finger was in pain whenever I had to do the chords. That's why I don't like this procedure when going for donation.
It's no surprise that I'm so eager to donate blood. I've always wanted to do charity work, but does not have the 'ability' yet. So at least, this is what I can do. You know that you can actually save a life out there.
By the way, the service at NBC is very good, and refreshment is provided after the donation. aha, that's a bonus!
Hopefully the next time (which my dad plan in December) won't be delayed. Haha.
Touched by two Angels
September 10, 2006. Such a marvelous day.
Winning a contest on MyFM, YZ and I attended a Fans Gathering with Jin Sha and Yee Chung! It was held in GasOnline Cafe, Sg Wang at 8pm. Believe me, my first time a Sg Wang!
We managed to catch last part of the MyFM concert which was held at Sg Wang entrance, at which Yee Chung was the last performing artist. He sang the songs [Bu Da Yang De Dian], [Shi Lian Xue] and [Zai Jian], and he dedicated the latter song to his PA, who would be leaving the company soon. Such a touching moment...
Fans' Gathering session
At the gathering venue, I was quite surprised by the huge number of people present. Found out that there were 6 units of winners who were invited. Around 30-40 people.
Before the arrival of the VIPs, the MC, Jason (MyFM DJ) chose team members for Yee Chung and Jin Sha to play a game. Within minutes, we got to see the prince and the princess! They looked as good as usual. Chatted with Jason for a while, about their future plans, blablabla...
Q&A session
Next came the Q&A session. I managed to ask them a question, regarding whether they would switch back to their 'career'(say microbiologist?) from their 'interest' (music). YC replied that it would be tough, because microbiology is like a computer, required upgrading and updating, and since he has been away from the industry for a long time, it would be hard to switch back. But he doesn't rule out the possibility. Whereas, Jin Sha mentioned that music has been her interest since young, she loved to sing and create (or change) the lyrics of the songs she sing. she was previously a reporter. YC acknowledge her for achieving her dreams.
Besides, YC said that his next album might include songs which are more rhythmic, but he will most probably not dance (sad...), as he name himself as "lao gu tou' (old bones)! JS expressed that she'd like to take part in another drama. She even had in mind a drama where YC will act as a killer/murderer, Ah Do as the Head of a 'black society', whereas JJ can become her brother. how interesting!
JS felt that the guys in Malaysia are very 'MAN'. Her type of guys can be like that of a movie, [Summer More More Tea], where the guys play guitar and sing along at the beach. Ooh, that's beautiful! YC teased her instead, asking whether she liked Ah Niu, or Michael wong, who were actors in the movie.
The Game
the game came next, where one team member would sing a song and the opponent continue it. I was chosen for the game (earlier, well...as the crazy person I am, I try to get every chance to be near YC...hehe). It was fun to see YC and JS upclose, in a relaxed mood. The way they played 'paper, scissors, stone' was even a wonder...haha! **
Though YC got the priority in the beginning, our team lost in the end. Somehow we just ain't so familiar with JS's songs. Paiseh. but we got consolation prizes and group photo too! Yey! and JS was so nice, she let me stand beside YC! but there was this little voodoo doll hanging from the ceiling blocking me...sweat...there goes my only photo with Yee Chung and Jin Sha...
After this was the group photo session, where the 6 groups of winners shoot with YC and JS. Aha1 The cheeky me quickly chose a strategic place...where else but beside YC??! Haha... even YC turned around and said,"hey, you shi ni!" (You again!) (Maybe he was getting fed up of seeing me again...hah!) But later, I gave my precious place to YZ, coz she hasn't gotten to stand beside him yet. Imagine the smile on her face! **
In the end, Jason chatted with them again, and bid farewell to them (JS is leaving for China while YC will be heading to taiwan to prepare his next album). Oh, so no autograph session. kinda disappointed. I stood by the aisle, ready to bid them last goodbye. Many fans started raining down gifts for them, many of them are stuffed dolls (how lucky of JS!), and some fans handed out albums for her to sign on.
OMG! Autographs?!! Yikes! I quickly rushed back to my seat and got my guitar! But by the time I reach back the aisle, YC has already passed. But I didn't care, I started calling out to him (you can also call that 'shout'). After 2-3 times calling him, he turned around, and I requested for him to sign on my guitar.
And he said YES!! He walked back here. He signed so nicely, the way he always do for each of his albums. And now, haha... this has become a real stimulator for me to work hard in guitar learning! As I have said, Yee Chung has inspired me a lot!!
They left shortly, while we the fans stayed back for some refreshment. Met the Fan Club members, one of whom YC himself recognised. How lucky! Now I wonder whether he will remember the crazy me, maybe my shiny braces look significant enough! Haha!
**My Marvelous Experience!!**
I was the last of 3 to play. Before that, YC told me, "jin li jiu hao." (Just try your best.) But nevertheless, I didn't know the song my opponent sang, so I lost. YC said, "mei guan xi, mei guan xi." I kinda apologise to him, and he replied,"mei guan xi," then he whispered to me,"wo ye bu hui!" (I dunno also!) Hahaha... so cute, so nice of him. I knew he was just trying to console us, though I guess he really didn't know the song! Hehe...
After the group photo for MyFM winners, YZ tried talking to YC... about an event at UKM. But somehow, YC was not sure, "you an pai ma?" (is there arrangement for this?) Then, we had to leave, wonder what they said in the end.
When signing my beloved guitar, finding that I didn't have a pen (how careless of me), his PA handed out a marker pen to him (thanks a lot to his PA!). i struggled a bit while taking out the guitar from the case, so he kindly said, "man man lai, man man lai." (slowly..no rush) *Meltz~!* Putting the guitar down on the floor...
YC: "yao qian na li?" (where to sign?)
me: "em..." (no idea...as you like?)
He signed on the top front. Though the autograph seemed kinda weird or rather upside-down for some people (because of his position), it doesn't matter to me, I love it anyway! It was a rush of time, yet YC was willing to take some time to sign...I'm so touched!!! He even spoke to me!
YC: "ni you tan ji ta ma?" (do you play guitar?)
me: "hai zai xue xi..." (still learning.)
I was too excited, I guess I even forgot to see him out. I forgot if I thanked him, but deep down inside, I feel so thankful, and so touched. Thanks a lot, Yee Chung kor kor, you are so nice!
All the way, YC and JS had been giving their best. There must be times when they are very tired, but they will still have smiles on their faces. They treat their fans and staff nicely, and would speak and act in a humble way. Such are the qualities of artists which are rarely found in the entertainment circle. Really, I was so truly happy when Yee Chung agreed to sign on my guitar, and even asked me not to rush, when otherwise he could be heading for bed a few minutes earlier!
Gotta thank MyFM for giving his chance, thank my dad for sending us there, and Yc's PA for the marker pen! Most of all, thank you to Jin Sha and Yee Chung for spending time with us, being patient with us and treating us so well! I have never met any artist so humble and friendly.
All the Best to Yee Chung and Jin Sha! We will miss you guys so much! Really hope to see you in Malaysia again. can't wait for Yee Chung's drama [The Beginning] and his upcoming album!!
Miscellaneous
Dad was originally going out-station. Not anymore, Yey! many problems solved.
Frst, guitar class.
Then, the fan's meeting session with Yee Chung and Jin Sha. It will be at sg Wang, which is kinda hard in transport aspect especially at night. Now I hope that dad will pick us up...
There's the Awards Day. I had been down over my dad over not attending the ceremony, which is my first ever in UCSI.
Great. There goes Friday. Didn't go for duty today. and there goes the 2nd week, with only 2 hours of work.
I regret a lot for choosing school of IT and Management for this semester. I wanted to continue in School of Engineering, but there were no more places.
I realised the ease of duty at the previous school. The supervisor wasn't strict, and doesn't mind a lot about the working hours, as long as we do work. How great was that.
But now over here, the supervisor will fill my time-sheet (which is the right way). And she will write the hours I was there, NOT my initial planning hours. And so, I have trouble planning my working now.
Even worse off, they DON'T have much work for me to do!! What'a heck??! Then how am I going to complete my duty?? ANd why are they assigned so many scholarship students?? It's CRAZY!! I'm so much worried now... I really don't like it here, they really do treat me as a worker. Shit.
And they expect me to go to the heads to look for work. Suddenly I feel like I'm a jobless looking for employment. Or even a salesgirl trying dispose the products at hand.
I really don't mean to, but... I HATE THIS PLACE!!!
Complaints about the contractor again.
Heard my mom talking over the phone about the renovation. She was complaining about some works done without her knowledge, and messed them up.
I truly doubt about the contractor's 'professionalism'. he doesn't even use his brains! Resulting in mistakes here and there! And more ridiculously, he wants us to pay him more to re-do the mistakes1 WHAT??!!Whether he is uncle or elder or whatever, I really wish I could smack him!!
Frst, guitar class.
Then, the fan's meeting session with Yee Chung and Jin Sha. It will be at sg Wang, which is kinda hard in transport aspect especially at night. Now I hope that dad will pick us up...
There's the Awards Day. I had been down over my dad over not attending the ceremony, which is my first ever in UCSI.
Great. There goes Friday. Didn't go for duty today. and there goes the 2nd week, with only 2 hours of work.
I regret a lot for choosing school of IT and Management for this semester. I wanted to continue in School of Engineering, but there were no more places.
Wasting time
Here I am, wasting my time again.
should have stayed at home and come later. I could be snoring in my bed now. Urgghhh...
The half-an-hour stuck at the LRT station... Shit. Crowded with people. I dunno what the hell is up with Rapid KL. Technical problems every once in a while. I hope they don't shout "Malaysia Boleh!"
Leave the Malaysians some face man...
And damn, I thought I could have come for duty today, but then, no work for me. Could have completed 3 hours of work time. And now, I'm sitting in the Computer lab again. Spoiling my eyes. Geesh...
Still feeling down and moody bout yesterday. It seems like I cannot trust anyone now. Or is it just me who is too sensitive? But then, who likes the feeling of loneliness? Who likes to be betrayed?
For sure, I don't.
I hope I can get over this soon. Though I know that I will continue to have a hard time.
背叛
不知道是否真的背叛,但心里很不舒服,有点被利用的感觉。
到现在,交朋友还不是我的强项。交不到朋友很寂寞,交到不真心的朋友更是心痛。
其实我是真的要做朋友,可是我发现她只把我当个代替品。她有一群很要好的朋友,那没关系,不过她不应该就这样忽略了其他人的感受。把我当成透明的吗?
如果真是朋友,就该让我知道自己有去开会啊。难道说的那句话是为了骗我,让你的好朋友们那个机会吗?如果我猜中了的话,那你真是太卑鄙了!
我非常失望,为何好象老是被利用、被遗弃、被抛弃。更衰的是,在这学期我只有她一个女性朋友(虽然她其实蛮“男性化“的)。也因为我念的科系少女生吧。和她做朋友,我还蛮压力的,不知为何,可能是因为她很聪明吧。
老实说,我听说,但不很相信,优秀生某些方面是自私、吝啬的。然而,类似的人,我也见了不少。更何况她是‘香蕉人‘,好她没话题聊,很闷。我比较喜欢单纯些的人,比如佩玲。她是个天生美女,老是笑嘻嘻地,善良又单纯,和她很谈得来。她是我入学以来最好的朋友,现在真的好想念她哟。。。
不过又能怎样,生活还得过下去。只能请愿,不会再遇到不真心又卑鄙的人。
Malaysia and Singapore's Chief Monk passes away
The Buddhist Channel, Aug 31, 2006
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia -- The Chief monk of Malaysia and Singapore, Ven. Dr K Sri Dhammananda Maha Nayaka Thera passed away peacefully at 12.42 pm today. He was 87.
The venerable's "home coming" to the Buddhist Maha Vihara
Born in the small village of Kirinde, Matara in southern Sri Lanka on March 18, 1919, Ven. Dr K Sri Dhammananda or "Chief" as he is fondly called, was ordained at the age of 12.
He was given the name "Dhammananda" which means "one who experiences happiness through Dhamma." At the age of 22. he received higher ordination (upasampada) under Venerable K Ratanapala Maha Thera, the Chief abbot of Kotawila Vihara.
Ven. Dr K Sri Dhammananda came to Malaya (now Malaysia) in January 1952. He has since then made Malaysia his adopted home. His contribution to the development of Buddhism in pre-independence Malaya and then modern Malaysia is beyond measure.
Ven Dhammaratana leading the puja session with other monks.
He was foremost in promoting Buddhist education to the grassroot and was responsible to bring basic Buddha-Dharma teachings to the lay people. The venerable's impact was especially felt amongst the English speaking local Buddhists.
Meanwhile at the Buddhist Maha Vihara in Kuala Lumpur, the venerable's body was brought back to the vihara at around 5.30 pm today local time. The temple has declared 3 days of official mourning.
Members of the public can pay their last respect to the venerable at the "Dewan Asoka". The funeral will take place on Sunday.
My family and I went to the Buddhist Maha Vihara last night to pay our last respect to the Chief Reverend, and have a last look at him.
Though I have no much encounter with the Chief, I appreciate his effort in expounding the Dhamma.
May the Chief be reborn in a blissful state and attain Nibbana.
Thrilling Merdeka!!!
Woohoo!!
August 31 was Malaysia's National Day. Had a lot going on. Can be considered a special National Day indeed. Just a briefing...
~Watched [Taegukgi] on tv. Though the 3rd time watching it, the scenes in near the end still made me shed tears.
~Had pork for almost 5 meals continuously. All because of YZ who was back for holiday. Got tired of it. The big piece of fat from "siou bak" still haunts me. =( But the "Bak Kut Teh" was good! Our regular destination for the delicacy, [Yi Xin Ge], best in PJ and...KJ, Kelana Jaya!
~It was raining again. Constantly thinking of the Rain God, Yee Chung. Well, would be seeing him at night, can't wait!
~Jin Sha mini concert!! That's the main reason for this blog. Haha!
~And i finally met Fish from DFC forum, who is a big fan of Yee Chung and David Tao too! Haha... She was with Fanny, Soursand, and another gurl (sorry, forgot her name, paiseh paiseh). Didn't meet Fish and Fanny though we were at JJ's concert, and I believe at the same area too!
[Jin Sha Unbelieveable Mini Concert]
Yes, it was Unbelieveable. The mini concert was held at the main hall of Confucian Independent School, at 8pm. Again, we asked for Cousin Heck to ferry us there (and join us of course). Glad that Jin could go, though her exam is approaching. My initial plan was to join the MyYeeChung Fans' Club, but then we changed places to MyFM winners' section (where 2 of us were supposed to be).
Being a crazy girl who would get really crazy, my greatest fear was being seated in a 'cold' area. Coz I hate being like a fool, cheering on my own. Uhuh, and my fear was there. Actually it was almost the whole audience which was 'cold'. Seems like majority of it was there for Yee Chung, including me.
I do adore Jin Sha. I noticed her since she first appear on Malaysian TV in a Chinese drama called [Shi Ba Sui De Tian Kong] (The world of the 18-year-olds). Her character was a sweet pretty girl, and had a special relationship with a boy of the same class. The actor of that character was Li Zhi Nan, who appeared in her recent MV. She looks quite like that character (Lan Fei Ling), very sweet and cute.
Though she doesn't like to pose in the 'trendy' "cute" smiles (those which you twist your fingers and mouth like anything), but she does look truly cute doing that, as if she was born for that. and she has really beautiful fair skin. If I were a guy, I'd go for her! Haha!
The event started off with a video clip about Confucian 100th Anniversary, followed by a 'hand-language performance' by Beliawanis.
Phoebe as the MC.
Then out comes Jin Sha! She looked so good and cute, in a white 'bubbly' dress, just like a little princess. Her performance was quite good, tough there's still room for improvement. As I mentioned earlier, the audience was quite stingy of cheers. I wished I could have shouted out loud, but not wanting to look like a fool, I did not. Boo.
A chit-chat with Yee chung and Jin Sha.
And out hopped Yee Chung! He was in a pink shirt, which he claimed that it shrunk1 Hehe... nevermind, he still appeared like a Prince! So we have a prince and a princess on stage!
They chatted a while about Jin Sha's album, which then Jin Sha fed the audience about the kind of girl which Yee Chung adored (in her opinion, that is). During this, Phoebe kinda asked him if he agreed, and he made a gesture shaking his shoulders, which of course was truly cute!! Hehe...
Talking about umbrella, seeing the umbrellas brought by myyeechung members.
Yee Chung delivered 2 songs, [Kao An] and [Shi Lian Xue]. During the songs, he threw poster to the audience, and playfully tricked us! Haha!
Yee Chung singing away...
During the second song, he came down to stage to us. Once Ihe was in front of me for about 2 seconds, just half a metre away! WOOHOO!!! It was so cool to see him up so close! Really got so crazy! And when he turned back, I kinda touhed his arm, and haha... I guess he was surprised and looked this way! Hehe... Imagine how thrilled I was!!
Btw, I did a stupid thing. Of course everyone was very excited and wanted to catch the posters thrown (like throwing food into the water for the fish...sweat). Once a poster was caught by a boy on duty, and guess what, I grabbed it from him! Damn crazy! Never in my life had I thought I would do that. And very paiseh and sorry to that guy. He seemed to wanted to keep it, but then he was on duty right? Hehehe... Though I feel really ashamed...sweat sweats...
A get-ready posture to throw us the posters!
Obviously, majority of the crowd was there to support Yee Chung (including us). When he came on stage, the cheers for him was double of that for Jin Sha. So, Yee Chung had to 'plead' the audience to support Jin Sha besides supporting him.
After that, a futher composer artist of Hai-O, Lee Zhi Qing (whose album will be released soon) played the guitar to accompany with Jin Sha singing. Kinda got super-excited when I the guiatr being brought out! Haha! Make a wild guess, you'd know that I'm obsessed with guitars now. *Sweat* Not too familiar with some of the songs, but all the way, they sounded nice, especially the guiat music. =D
The two hottest songs were [Ben Dan] and [Bu Ke Si Yi], which the latter was the encore song. These two songs really got the crowd to sing along. I especially love [Ben Dan] (Stupid), which is very touching. The myyeechung members even shouted "Ben Dan" to her, but she cutely replied that she's happy! Such a sweet girl!
In the end was the autograph session. After much thought and consideration (duhh...), we rushed to purchase Yee Chung's Special Edition album (with music videos!!). The chance to go on stage was given to Jin, as she would not be able to attend the Fans Meeting Session.
And gosh, how I envy! She was on stage for such a long time (3 minutes WAS a long time), and fancy having Yee Chung looking at her... writing (our names)! In the end, Yee Chung only wrote our surname, coz the PA thought writing 3 names was too much. =( Anyway, his hand-writing was so neat (for guys, you know). I miss seeing him signing his autograph, the sincere and serious and dedicated look. Aww...
And a first-time experience. When we got outside the hall, we found a van parked next to my cousin's car. Yeah! That's their van!! Rushing over there, we found Fish and gang already waiting! (Haha... they are the experienced gang!) First to come out was Lee Zhi Qing, who was still as shy as usual (with his head so low...heehee). He was holding his guitar and some other stuff, but still shook hands with us. Nice guy. =) That means I'm gonna support him... spiritually~!!
A little moment later Jin Sha appeared, all smiles. She looked so pretty upclose, and slowed down her footsteps to greet us goodbye. I suddenly had the urge to hug her! Hehe...so looked just like a doll... =D
Yee Chung was out at last, but he was walking quite fast. But it was good to see him too. And I wanted to hug him too. But I couldn't! wooooo...
Seeing Zhi Qing by the window, YZ made gestures to attract his attention so as to take a photo. He did look out at us, but with no facial expression (Doraemon? Hehe...). No photos taken in the end (dark screen, arghh!). Well, couldn't see Yee Chung and Jin Sha, coz sun-shades were on the window. (Whether to block out the sunshine or to block us from seeing them... must be the latter!)
End of the exciting day! WAiting to see Yee Chung and Jin Sha again.
There's the Fans Meeting Session coming up! Too bad it's for half an hour only, but I'll attend anyway! Yippee!!
The affectionate look in him...
*Drools*
Hope you enjoyed!
