After nearly 10 years, I finally get to skate again! The last time being in Beijing, the underground of China World Trade Center Complex.
Truly have been longing for it, though seeing the crowd in the small skating rink is not comfortable. It was tough having to avoid crashing into people, and to get used to the professionals who fly over everywhere. Yes they are scary, and I wonder if they are around to help or to scare people off balance. whew~
And the price to pay for being brave. As I had done with roller-skates, it was rather easy to speed up when the floor was clear... and hence tending to fall. And the lack of braking skill! It was rather hard to learn.
And now, my knees are buried within dry ice, for the sores and the colorful black and blue and red and... plues my stiff neck and cramped shoulders... hoho~
Yet there comes my crave to dig out my roller-skates. I wonder if they are still in one piece or parts of them melted away... >.<
Longing for the next trip ~ XD

Baby steps
Can't help it. Keep staring at the computer screen, at the email.
Overwhelmed, excited, anxious, nervous.
Haha. I dunno whether I should laugh or cry. Or shiver.
Will be a hectic beginning of the new semester...
With my first job interview in 3 weeks' time.
Gambateh people!!

Runner Robot Competition
Yet another project that has gotten me on nerves and running around.
All ended sound and well.
A successful event held by UCSIU IET Student Chapter, the Runner Robot Competition. That's the cool part of Embedded Design System for Mechatronics, coz you can never have a "Multimeter Competition" for the E&E students... urghhh...
Anyway, seems like out stopwatch timers modules that have spent us more than fifty bucks per set was only used for the first round. Yet that was the most boring part (but most critical part to get marks) of the competition.
Thanks to the participants and the crowd for bringing colors to the event. It was fun to hear people cheering.
And full credit to the team who made it! And of course, the support of the student chapter and advisors behind this.
A critical semester it made, yet another experience. =)
