I attended an interview session on 22nd April at Sin Chew office for Sin Chew Scholarship. I waited for more than 2 hours before my turn, because the interview was about half an hour for one person, and finally, my turn! I was interviewed by another person, it went out quite smoothly, though I was the usual nervous lad.
After that, the next few days was to consider whether to take up this course. I applied for Electrical and Electronic Engineering in University College Sedaya International (UCSI). Why consider it even before getting a reply? That's because I have only about 1 day to consider it if I ever get the scholarship. I was to start attending the orientation on 26th April. Besides this, I am waiting for a reply from Matriculation, which I have tried to appeal, and there's also Form 6 as an option.
By luck, I was offered the scholarship! After all the consideration and worries and everything, I decided to accept the offer. Part of the reason is that since I have a chance to do a course I am interested in, it is a good chance for me, whereas if I take up STPM, I may not have a course I desire in local university. ANd in fact, I am so so afraid of STPM, which is more academic and self-study, and the standard is way up higher than that of SPM. As for matriculation, I doubt that I have any chance of getting it, moreover, it is better to do a course in English rather than in Malay.
Though I met with some problems these two days, and I'm quite anxious about my classes which will start next week, I feel that it will turn out okay in some time. One tough thing: I have to face with the reality that a larger percentage of the students are male, and in fact, I may be the only girl in class! Wow! Makes me sweat even thinking of it. No way turning back, I'll have to cope with it, though now I may be very scared, I still don't know the real situation by then. Let's just hope for the best. I still have my best friends back here to support me!
Good luck to myself and also my friends out there!

Yee Chung: A warmth in the heart
Though it seems quite true and 'mystical' that Lim Yee Chung brings rain to everywhere he goes (it started raining heavily since he came back to Malaysia about 1 week ago) since his name rhymes with "getting wet in the rain", it always feels very warming when I see him or hear his voice and listen to his songs. There has to be something that makes him a darling to Asian fans!
Yee Chung is back in Malaysia since last week for his album promotion sponsored by DiGi. Last night (April 15) was his music showcase at Dewan Wawasan, PGRM. It started raining about one hour plus before the event at 8pm. Upon arrival, there were long queues of fans waiting outside the hall. We got our tickets from the MY Fm Counter, bought 3 albums (with free DiGi packs), and did some registration. *My cousin even bought a reload card just to get a poster! Lots of thanks to him!* At around 7.40pm we(VIP ticket holders) were let into the hall to the right side for My Fm winners. Then, it was waiting again. Yee Chung, who was stuck in the rain and traffic jam, was late for more than 45 minutes. But the moment he appeared on the large screens showing him in the backstage, the audience turned crazy! he apologised for being late while doing a bit of last-minute make-up. Minutes later, he appeared from the main entrance, singing [Xia Ban Bei Zi] which he wrote for Jordan Chan. He walked through the crowd and up the mini-stage, and later proceeded to the main stage in front. He said that he started the special event with this song because this was the first song that introduced him to the entertainment circle. On stage, he interacted with the MC Phoebe and even responded to the fans.
Other songs that he sang were [Bu Da Yang De Dian] and [Shi Lian Xue]. While singing [Gong Ti Bei], he came down the stage and shook hands with the fans. No one wanted to miss this chance, and of course rushed up to him to hold his hand! *HaPpIe!* Then, he proceeded to the mini-stage.
On the mini-stage near the middle of the hall (specially set up for this showcase), He sat in the black sofa with Phoebe in the so-called 'his room'. Phoebe acted as a girl who really admired him, challenged him with many 'affectional' questions. she even said that because of this, Yee Chung didn't dare to look her in the eye! Haha! The important thing is, she concluded that Yee chung is a good man, and that if we girls want to get a boyfriend, he should be like Yee Chung! * And that's for sure! Heehee!* (And I guess his face turned red! haha!) This was followed by him playing the guitar unplugged while singing the songs [Ni Hen Hao]*Ah Du*, [Ye Ku Guo]*Tao Zi*, [Xia Xue]*Ah Du* (all composed by him), and an English song he loves [If]. All the songs were delivered nicely, and the audience replied with rounds and rounds of applause.
He went back to the main stage again, and delivered his 'last' song [Zai Jian]. Such a touching song... my current favourite! He 'left' for the backstage. as expected, the corwd roared Encore, led by Phoebe, and shouted for him. Then we saw him on the screen again (and I really like to watch these because he looked so cute that way... and very sincere!). and Then, he appeared on stage again, giving an encore song of his hit single, [Kao An]. He came down the stage again, and we rushed up to him again. *very normal scene during artists' showcases, but very exciting!* Luckily, I got to shake his hand again! Twice! (crazy ya...) And that was the end of the music show.
I felt sad that that was the end, but up next was the autograph session. Thank goodness we have 3 copies of the album (so that all 3 sisters can get on stage). It wasn't quite a long queue, and that's benefit, because we got to stay on stage longer and there was no need to be shooed by the staff (as it happened in Vic's showcase). He signed the album whole-heartedly, looked at us and thanked us with a smile. I managed to 'slip' in a sentence "hao hao xiu xi o" (hope you will take a good rest), and he replied "xie xie! xie xie!", so nice, so sweet!
In the end, he thanked us again, let the fans take some photos, and shook hands again. I was in luck again because my place was quite 'strategic', but later I was pushed and almost lost my balance! (Thank god I didn't 'pok kai'.. hehe! But if I did, would Yee Chung save me? Haha! Dream on!) And finally, he left.
I'm reali touched by the way he treats his fans, and his devotion to his fans. This was the best ever autograph session I've attended! and he is the most friendly artist I met! *Gosh! I'm melting!* I wish all the best to him.
Sadhu sadhu Sadhu!

I miss my class
It's been more than 4 months... I really miss my classmates. I am so sad and disappointed that no one (except for a few) visits our forum, our main site for 'meeting', whatsoever...
Dear classmates, please come back. Come into the webpage, it's the only thing that tie us together now.
The Graduation day...

At the Crossroads...
I am at a crossroad, but not knowing my destination, I don't know which way to go.
A few weeks earlier, it was the time to apply for scholarships. And yesterday, I went for an interview at Alif Creative Academy for the architecture course. It went on quite okay, I tried to be calm and natural, but then for some of their challenging questions, I feel that my response wasn't so good. after the interview, I was required to do a sketch on 2 pieces of paper, without eraser. That was tough, and it took me quite some time.
Although really hoping to get the scholarship, I am getting doubtful of whether I can proceed my Bachelor degree. I thought I would be able to cope with the fees by getting loan, however, I was mistaken that the sum of money required to do a degree for architecture overseas was for only a year, and NOT the whole course. WOW! I will have to spend at least 3 time (for 3 years)! Now, I really don't know what to choose. Should I join the college with the scholarship to pursue my dream, or should I just get a more secured course like accountancy? My dream really cost a lot... and yet I really don't know if it's considered a dream. I am SO messed up!
Am I thinking too much? Why do I not have an ambition, something I really want? should I just follow my parents' suggestion? I am getting really tired... tired of thinking, what do I expect in the future? Even more worries? haiz...what does the future stand for me?
