Left out some pics of our graduation tour...
On the 3rd day we went to Kek Lok Si and Batu Feringgi. I only have pics for Batu Feringgi.
A nice view of Batu Feringgi, with some of us running around on the beach. This photo always remind me of those days...
My gang. From left: me, Wei, Ley, Juen. One missing though--Theng. Except for Ley, I haven't seen the others since the tour.
Some of my best classmates.
Had some trouble taking these pics here in the water, coz the wave kept pushing us around. It was a happy time, YEY!
The last day wasn't much planned, we just went buy some tambun cookies, and a visit to Prangin Mall.
The last day at our bedroom...this bed was shared by 9 girls...geng!

3 months...
It has been almost 3 months since our SPM last paper... These days were spent quite aimlessly, sitting at home, going online, reading the papers, doing housework, coking rice..usually just rice (apparently I sound like a half-housemaid). I'm getting fed-up of this.
Then, next week will be something I hate a lot--exam. I'll be having driving test on Friday March 3rd, while my motorbike test will be on 27th Feb. In between, I'll have to go to the dentist's twice, for braces on my lower jaw's teeth. WOW...4 days of suffering!! I'm quite exhausted this week even though I have driving and motorbike lessons on Tuesday and Wednesday. Anyway, what scares me the most is the driving test, for the 'naik bukit' (going uphill) session. I often released the clutch while practising, causing the engine to "die off". And I'm afraid that I'll panick. And the motorbike test, the bridge is a challene. The school boss said that if I fall off the bridge, then...fail. It ain't really hard, but I'm just afraid that I didn't concentrate then, and forgot the procedure. I pray that I will pass both..sadhu sadhu sadhu!
I had a phone conversation last night with a friend from class (ex-class in exact), she was hoping that we have a gathering again, during her school holidays. She couldn't join our previous gatherings due to school. Now she wants to go skating with us. Hmm... except for her and some other friends, I haven't met many of my ex-classmates for more than months already, including those who were very close with me during high school. It seems the 'serious' people are very busy, except me. And Lee Eng maybe. We are the ones who have 'too much' time to hang around at home, shaking our legs (in Mandarin-- yao jiao), beating mosquitoes (in Hokkien-- pak bang), too free after meals (in Hokkien again-- Jia ba siao eng).
Since I'm so 'free', I listen to the radio more often, I start to pick up with some new singers. Other than 'paparazzi-ing' around Daniel, I caught up with other local singers like V Chuan, Hudson,...The most recent craze is Lim Yee Chung, a local songer cum composer who gained big popularity in Taiwan, and now Malaysia, his hometown. He was known for his compositions for many hot singers in the Entertainment circle. Might do a briefing of him later...:P
An aimless post about aimless stuff. Will try to upgrade my blog, my boring blog. Hope people will still come in...please la...'peng chang' a bit.. :D

Ist Blood Donation
February 18 2006, Saturday. A memorable day, it's the 1st time I DONATED BLOOD! Wow... I really feel proud of it.
It was done in the National Blood Centre in Jalan Tun Razak in the morning. Was kinda nervous in the beginning. When I saw the "needle" or rather TUBE which was to go into my SKIN, I...didn't pengsan, but it was real scary! But before that I had an injection on my elbow, and when the tube was injected into my skin, I didn't feel anything, only then did I realise it was an anaesthesia. Whew...Sadhu, Sadhu, Sadhu!
Seeing the blood flowing through the tube into the packet, I wonder what I will feel after the session. Will I faint? I was quite anxious as I often had nose bleeding, I was afraid I didn't have enough blood, to donate that is. But thank goodness it turned out okay, I was safe. Sadhu again! Just that I was really sleepy the whole day, maybe the result of the donation!
It feels good to be able to do donation, especially this which can safe other people's life. I'm glad that my packet of blood out there will be able to safe another's life. Though I was afraid in the beginning, I was motivated by my family and other people's action, and I hope to do my part to serve the society. Other than this, I also have a Malaysian Donor's Card, which I will donate my organs which can be used upon... And again, I hope to help as many people as I can.
I feel that this is a good practice, and in Buddhism we practise generosity, I am in the process of cultivating my kamma too. I hope that you who are reading this will also do your part, big or small, as long as it it right.

CNY visit to Old Folks' Home
January 23 2006, Monday-- A visit to the Ampang Old Folks' Home by the Daniel's Fan Club members a.k.a. Pinkies. There was a lunch or tea time for the old folks, followed by entertainment time lead by Daniel Lee who played along his guitar. Then, hampers were distributed by Daniel, and his parents Idolhunter and Swan56 gave angpows to them. The event was a successful one, which ended with a group photo of the old folks with almost all of the Pinkies.
Daniel singing 'Que Sara Sara' with an old aunty.
Daniel's parents giving angpows.
Daniel accompanying his parents and greeting each old folk.
Thanks to Daniel's Fan Club (DFC)

GONG XI FA CAI!!!
Chinese New Year this year is almost like any other year. Well, there were some special events, which we don’t have for the last few years. For example, I just came back from a friend’s house, where some 10+ classmates had a gathering and bai nian. It turned out…not too bad, just not as exciting as I expected. But still, I was glad to see my friends again, like sha po Kazeendra…hehee… What we did there was just watching TV, but when they finally planned to go somewhere, I was to go home. Boo…
This year the CNY holidays were longer than usual, for my sister’s school, it was as long as 10 days (1 day as “cuti ganti”). We didn’t stay in our kampong Kedah for that long though, it was always boring during this time of the year, though I really like the atmosphere of the season. 3 most exciting element for CNY is…one, beautiful new clothes to wear; second comes the ang pows we get; third is the delicious food which we can eat non-stop! Haha… now you can guess that I have gained a few kilograms…
Before this, on January 23rd, my sisters and I joined Daniel’s Fan Club for a visit to Ampang Old Folks’ Home. It was a meaningful event, which Daniel was also present to do his part – entertaining the old folks. He started by giving a speech (which was not long, coz he didn’t know what to say except for the thank yous…=D) He sang some new year songs, including Cai Shen Dao, Gong Xi Gong Xi, and He Xin Nian. With his guitar, he also dueted with the old folks on Quer Sara Sara, and Ye Lai Xiang. The latter, which an old uncle was to sing with Daniel’s guitar melody, created a lot of laughter as the uncle ‘enjoyed’ the song on his own and sang the way he wanted. Daniel really had a hard time catching up with his singing although he played very well! Later, hampers and ang pows were given out to every old folk, from the donation of DFC members. Too bad I didn’t contribute anything… hopefully I will if there’s another such event. Then Daniel had a press conference with some reporters, and finally a group photo of the DFC members and the old folks, and of course Daniel.
Overall, CNY is a very important and exciting event of the year, it’s the time of the year I most look forward to. I always love the atmosphere, especially of that in my kampong. It just feels great to be with my relatives. It is a reunion season, which I also hope to gather with my friends. I do miss the CNY in Beijing, quiet and cold. We don’t have any relatives there, but we visited some Chinese and Malaysian Chinese friends there, and once we even invited the Chinese staff in the embassy for a party in our house. The main dish for the party was DUMPLINGS (yummy!!!), which was made together with the Chinese staff in our house. Such merry moments and happiness…
Well, CNY is not over yet, hopefully more exciting events coming up!
