This is just so ridiculous... even I can't believe it happened...
Realize the true meaning of the evil of the working society. Being nice will never bring you anywhere... in fact, it will only kill you. Especially if you are a newbie in this strange world.
And damn I was. Because of similar experience of the sis, I wasn't persistent enough in getting my pay for te job. And after five months now, I haven't even got the hundred and twenty bucks which might be nothing for them but definitely important for me. And only discovering the truth behind all these afer talking to the friend. Proving luckier than her, it was a huge lesson for me...
After this, the phobia arisen... not that serious though, but just the caution in getting part-time jobs. I wonder if this is the trend, especially in event companies... for I still have the will in working for events. But even if I'm not afraid, I wonder if my parents will let me.
A good experience, a big lesson.
So, never be always nice...

Torch Relay!
It was a mission to get of house during holidays.. nah not really...
The 2nd ever Torch Relay in Malaysia. And the target is to watch Rynn Lim as the torch bearer. Met up with YZ who came with the long-time-no-see Muffy and Nani at B. Times Square. Had a mad time hanging around before the torch came... the memories, the Pakistani accent flying everwhere!! Haha...
Nani, YZ and I
About 4 something the torch finslly came... but to our dismay, Rynn wasn't here!! Got to know later that his part was at the beginning of the road, and we innocently thought they were gonna run for 250 meters... when they actually ran less than 100 m! Ahh.. frust!!
The torch.. and the bearer whom I don't know.. =/
But probably me... just felt like running with the Chinese students [actually just hoping Rynn's part wasn't over]... ran along with the parade. It was to our disappointment... but the good thing is... seeing Rynn in the bus!!! Rite... and you would have expected me to wave madly at him.. which I did of course! And he responded well, even gestured to us [yes us, that is my sis and I~] !!
Rynn with his gambateh pose!!
Ahah~ and that really kept me running! Haha.. this was way better than jogging... except for the rain, which delayed the procession near KL Tower. And when nearing KLCC, witnessed the torch without the fire... [that's too bad...] It was a hell of a place at KLCC - crowds, umbrellas... the stage was unseenable. And not able to find Rynn... ahh... =( But probably it was worth well.. knowing that I can make this far! And getting to witness the relay, and of course... getiing to see Rynn~ =D

The power of Dion
One of the biggest concerts in town, yet one of the shortest.
A one-and-a-half-hour concert of quality, of course (even DYMM Agong and Tun Mahathir were there~), only that the second half of the concert was... kinda boring to us... unfamiliar songs, that is. Still, there were the her hits like {The Power of Love}, {All By Myself}, {Because of You}, etc. Unfortunately not many of our own favorites.
singing {I'm Your Angel} :)
Rocking away...
Encore song {My Heart Will Go On}
and that's the only change of suit...

Choice
It's worth it. I hope.
After all the tension of having to complete the assignment with lack of information, after all the trouble of rushing for the interview back at South Wing right after the lab test.
And I was selected to join the camp at Sabah!!
But the fact that I was torn between making a choice of two events - my cousin's wedding, a long-waited one, or the Camp, a once-in-a-lifetime chance. The cousin is, of course, considered one of the closest. We all have been waiting to 'drink his 喜酒'!
But the P2P Camp... such a rare chance. something that I have longed for... and it's SABAH! How in any other way will I have a chance to set my foot there??! Especially now, it's fully sponsored!
I know it's not right to FFG my cousin, but it seems all wrong to let go of the chance to Sabah just like that!
Hah... and so...
I am going to Sabah!! =D

Relief!
Technical Communication COMPLETED!
Submitted the Final Report, ended our Presentation! A day I have so much longed for!
The semester has been very tough because of this course, and now that the assessment has been completed, I get to relax my mind for a while and concentrate on the final exam.
It hasn't been a smooth path ever since we start on the project. Even up til the very last minute, There is still the problem of miscommunication, misunderstanding and misconception happening in our group. And a tripping stone to the progress of preparation which almost failed us! [Thanks to the dear broadband streamyx...] It's true that we cannot live without Internet nowadays...
So much that I had worried for the team, the presentation turned out better than expected. Though it didn't seem as good as other groups', most of the members were able to keep the flow going when they had to speak on topics not theirs. It wasn't fair somehow, that we had to follow this system (our fate to have to present when we we called), while the later groups get to follow their own sequence in presenting. Somehow, we were always the guinea-pigs...grrr...
And the team. Find it very tough as a leader for the first time. The brain that I so much used up in editing their work and doing the other 'unimportant' work; the miscommunication and misconception; the incidents that really got on my nerves... having to bear all these, for the sake of the team. Though all these, I still appreciate them as part of the team, and as long as they have put their effort in the project, they deserve my huge THANK YOU!!
At the end of the day, Although all the unsatisfactoriness in the work, I'm so glad to get the acknowledgement from the lecturer:
"I enjoyed reading your report."
That's what's that mattered most =D
