A tiring week

wow...finally over!

The last paper for monthly test was EST, but we guys have been relaxing right after the Physics paper. I didn't do well in that. Same with Chemistry. Shit. I mean, I really feel very disappointed with myself, especially since I have read the type of questions in my notes, but couldn't remember the details.

I really worry for my SPM. How the hell will I do if I keep on being like this?

HAve to continue to study, and work even harder. But for tonight, I won't just yet. Coz there a Malaysian Idol Special tonight! Gotta watch!

Are they really THAT bad?

It really get on my nerves about some news recently. While the Taiwanese group F4 have been promoting in Japan, there are some rumours which were negative about them.
Ken Chu was the most effected one. He had had rumours about cheating on his so-called 'girlfriend', and recently he was 'hooked up' with another Taiwanese female star. Some people commented that he wanted to created these kind of rumours by being caught with some female stars in order to get famous. Wow wow...this is so ridiculous! As far as I know Ken, he is not that type of person to do so. He hates a lot being roumoured and gossiped. HE is that kind of person who wants a peaceful life, not catching attention wherever he goes. Since he is planning to exit from the Entertainment circle in some years later, what is the purpose of creating these rumours then?
Other than that, most recently there were news of Vic, well...cheating on his 'girlfriend', too. Gosh, people just can't sleep without them being the bad guy in relationship huh? Then, there was this 'news' of him hurting himself because of some emotional pressure. Well, if he was the bad guy who cheats, why should he be hurting himself for that, since he 'felt right' to do the cheating?
Does it have to be the guys who will cheat on girls, not the girls wanting to 'pikat' them? And why should people try to spread negative gossips about F4, is it because they are jealous of them? Or they want to use their names in order to get famous?
You see, when you think on their side, you can see a total different scene. Just think about it.

Daniel is in!!! N he's BIG!

Jul 18, 2005
So So happy that Daniel got into the finals! Maybe it was expected but I was quite worry before the result show. Will be looking forward for the spectaculars then!

And guess what? Remember the Guest performer who sang in Jay Chow's concert 2 years ago? Well, surprisingly (to me), that person was DANIEL!!! I was very shocked when I read the news online last Friday. It's funny that no one mentioned it all the way during the competition. Anyway, up till now, What I know is Jay praised Daniel for playing the electronic guitar really well! Ain't that great? HAHA!!!

So you guys better watch out for him!

Sick the whole week

My goodness...I've been sick the whole week, and actually haven't recovered yet. From the day I returned from Genting Highlands, I've been having a strange kind of dizziness in my head, it feels as if I'm sea-sick. Sea-sick? duh... I dunno, it's also like when I've been playing or working for a whole day, my body feels tired and when I stopped, my mind was still 'moving'.

It didn't quite matter for the first day, but the dizziness got worse and worse until I really felt a headache and felt like vomiting. To make the matter worse, I started to have fever on Thursday besides having cold and cough which had lasted for more than a week. My god, every little sickness that I usually have came in all together in a day!

Then, on Friday, I was still sick, and believe me, I was so tired that I was blur for the whole day. The cold kept haunting me like hell, I was coughing, and my head ached a lot. I really hoped to get home for a nice nap.

On Saturday, I wasn't better. My boday was aching, and in the afternoon, Fever again. Wow, 2 fevers in a row, I thought the petai dishes I ate during these 2 days was the cause, adding that I've been having durians for a few days these 2 weeks. That was really too much!

So unlucky to get sick during this peak time--before exam. Now I have only 1 week left! OMG! Gotta hurry!

The talented... ...12 Girls Band

Had a rushing weekend. There was a lot of homework to do. But behind All that, there was a reason. We were going to Genting Highlands... For the concert of 12 Girls Band!
we were very lucky to get some sponsor for the tickets. We took off in the afternoon, so we had not enough time for theme park. The main point was the concert, which was very marvellous. However, I thought it was a short one, which lasted for around 1 hour 50 minutes only. After taht there was an autograph sesion held, and as the 'kepochi' we are, my sisters and I remained at the Arena of Stars watching the session until the end. But then they didn't really smile after that, I assume that they were tired and needed rest.

Later, we were to walk around the indoor theme park. Suddenly we spotted a guy with blonde (dyed) hair walking away. My sis said he looked like Adam from 8TV, but from the side ways I thought he did not. Until when my elder sis said the same thing, we (38ly) wanted to chase him, but unfortunately he had disappeared. later on, when we were hanging around in resort Hotel, we noticed some luggage with some boxes. The luggage were in big sizes, and the boxes were long. My sis thought it might be those belonging to the 12 girls band, so we waited a while and see if they appear there. unfortunate again, we didn't catch them. twice, that we 'cha jian er guo' with some superstars or artists. :(

The 12 Girls Band really impressed me a lot. Though Chinese Orchestra can be found a lot in China, it's really rare to find internationally well known ones. Now that they have become famous, their hard work really paid off. I really admire them for their profession in music. They even write some of their songs. Now, I really want to learn to play guitar properly, which I had failed to do so after a year. Maybe I should really take up guitar classes, but that all will have to wait until after the SPM. for the time being, I will focus my spirits on my studies. examination is near, better be careful!!!

omg...I won!

Oh my god... I really can't believe it... I won!!!

That was my first thought when I see the result. I was playing in the Scrabble Competition in catagory C, for Form 5 and 6. This was the final round, and I was against two six-formers (Boon Yung was in, but he didn't come). Wow...they were very competitive, that's why I was feeling so tensed that I didn't really talk.

We played until the very end, where all the tiles are picked. The final rounds were really 'sweaty', coz the remaining tiles were those with higher marks--more difficult letters.

To say the truth, I nearly lost the game, as it was a close call. My total score was only a 5-marks different from the runner-up. and if I didn't finish using my tiles, I wouldn't have gotten the extra 12 marks from my opponents. Most important, Both my opponent (Hong Wuh) and I spotted the same place to place ONE tile. His chance of score for that was higher(21 marks), but he wanted to leave the chance to the end. however, I took my step first, getting only 3 marks for that. That was the last tile, and I wasn't even sure if that word exists. if it doesn't, I lose. But it does! HAHA!!! and so the game ended.

I wasn't confident at all when the score was being counted. The opponents were really 'geng', with one or both scoring two words of 20+ marks. But it turned out that I had the highest score. that was really what I felt, I couldn't believe it. Gosh how happy I was! And how 'mad' Hong Wuh was! He kept bragging how he could have won. Poor him...so sorry to him, but I took my step, I had to do my best.

I'm so happy that I've won. I want to thank my mom, my dad, for letting me have the chance to learn more english, thanks to my friends for their support, and I want to thank bla bla bla......
I really want to thank ELS for holding the competition before I graduate (so that I can participate :+)5s1 for letting me have the chance to represent the class in the competition. Hehe... 5s1 has a name again!
JIA YOU 5S1!!!

Disgusted!

I was at the garden today, where I was jogging on the track surrounding the playground. When I passed by the playground, I noticed a few boys about 7-8 years old in a circle. From my view, i could see 1 or 2 boys doing some strange actions. To my horror, I saw smoke coming out of a boy's mouth! I couldn't believe it, but the group of boys there were really SMOKING! Well, there were not parents around the area (not their parents of course), I could see that they were doing it secretly, coz I saw them hiding the cigarettes in their clothes.

At such a young age, they are already exposed to this unhealthy habit. What will become of them as they grow older? It is a big chance that they get exposed to even dangerous stuff--like drugs. And who is responsible for this? Their parents? Their elder siblings (who might be smoking)? Or the the person who sold the cigarettes to them? If this continues, our country will someday be 'smoked down'!

We are not transparent

Remember the topic taught by the History teacher last Friday? Kepentingan Perlembagaan. She especially spoke about the part of 'hak dan istimewa orang Melayu'.

"Perlembagaan Malaysia, dalam Perkara 153 memperuntukkan peranan Yang di-Pertuan Agong dalam menjaga dan memelihara hak istimewa serta kedudukan orang Melayu dan bumiputera di Sarawak dan Sabah. hak istimewa tersebut ialah pemberian jawatan dalam perkhidmatan awam, biasiswa, kemudahan pendidikan serta pemberian lesen perniagaan dan perdagangan." (Buku teks Sejarah Ting. 5, Bab7, m/s 164)

She talked about the biasiswa thingy stating that the biasiswa was right to be given to bumiputeras. Yes, I agree. I have always accepted the hak istimewa of orang Melayu, and I respect it. But she missed out or she didn't talk about the last sentence of the paragraph:

"Walau bagaimanapun, perlembagaan juga memastikan Perkara 153 tersebut dilaksanakan dengan berhati-hati supaya pelaksanaannya tidak mengabaikan kaum-kaum yang lain."

Please lah teacher, we know that bumiputeras have hak istimewa, but we as 'kaum-kaum lian' also have our 'hak' also. And when you teach, remember to teach rightly not choose the text that you like.

MI2 : Workshop 1

For the whole week I've been waiting for this... ...well coz I'm really obssessed with Malaysian Idol!

but then, the Workshop 1 wasn't as good as I expected. The standard seems worse than MI 1. I mean, MI 1 was quite good, but according to what the judges stated, the standard was higher for this season. But how come the contestants can't sing well? And they are actually feeling very nervous that we can even see it through the camera?

Well for example, Norzila was the really nervous one that she forgot when to start, the whole session she was on stage she felt uneasy, and most important of all, she didn't sing well. I just wonder what Paul saw in her. Then Xerra. She was supposed to be a great singer, but her performance was plain. But still, I think she will make it to the Final 12. And Norzila might make it too...coz she has a pretty face.

The whole time watching MI 2, I feel that the standard has changed... ...dropped. They seem to take account of the physical looks more than last season's. And Paul Moss seem to like more of pretty girls than talented ones...... but why Kar Wei was out, I have no idea (some say it's because she is a second timer--second timers cannot get into the workshop round, or so.).

Anyway, I really hope for the better from Workshop 2. And of course, I really really hope to see Daniel get voted to get to the 12 Finalists.
